In the 'age' newspaper today,  item on making butter.  TMX gets a mention.
Body Shop in Bridge Road has gift boxes for $2 and $3 . Great for home made goodies.
Can buy Falafel chips , like Nachos.  Would be easy to make and might be good non gluten gift.

I was pleased to see that The Age was my size now Chookie. DD and I sat up in bed one reading The Age and the other The Herald Sun. Then we swapped.
I had an Uncle who lived in Melbourne and he was able to fold The Age in such a way her could read it on the tram to work. It is a skill us West Aussies have never needed to master.

I did Bridge Road when I was over visiting DD recently, lots of shops have moved to DFO's but there are still plenty to keep you occupied for a couple of hours or more.  I picked up a dress for myself for $3, a $59 top for $15 for DD and a couple of things for Mum for her birthday.

We also hit Bridge Road last week. As Judy says lots of places have shifted to DFO's. My favourite is the Bendon store. I usually pay over $50 for my bras, but there I bought 5 for $20 each. The best part was I could buy colours, here they only have black, white and beige. From Bridge Road we usually walk down to Swan St and hit Diane Ferrari shoes and Wittner.
I wasn't very impressed with the DFO this trip.

Seeing that you were on Bridge Road, Chookie, does this mean that Ral was down for a check up?  How is he getting on?  Has he conquered the infection he got whilst he was in hospital?
