I bet Mrs RC to be is very excited to be reunited soon.  What's happening to the helicopter RC? Will you be living in the city here?  I just read where you will be living in Brisbane, there's probably a hotel within coo-eee of your place  ;)

Robyn, you must be feeling well to be back in the kitchen so soon.

Thanks for sharing the video Rotorchef. I love the idea of flying to and from lunch instead of battling traffic in the car

Thanks for the comments  ;D

Nikkit - What did you fly? If you don't mind me asking.

Gert - Oh believe me I wasn't enamoured with them either! They chased us all the way to the lodge nearly forcing me to make an unscheduled stop at an airfield I really didn't want to land at as a best case, or worst case put it down on some farmland which would probably have confused a farmer or annoyed them! Good news is however there was a corridor of reasonable weather that opened up ......lets just say I went for! Wow those R44's can really shift when needed  ;D Besides, I was getting hungry too.

The clouds, weather in general (swirly winds) and less than fantastic landing area were the reason for the less common take off profile that I executed.

JudyD - The whirlybird will be staying here in the UK with her owners (unfortunately). She isn't mine mores the pity however I will back in the cockpit out here pretty soon all things being equal. As for a hotel being near by.......if you are talking about a very specific and rather well known hotel then "Yeah, its across the road......literally  ;D now how on earth did that happen I wonder?"

EmeraldSue - I will be completely honest, it is AMMMMAAAAAZZZZZIIINNNNGGGG!!!! And the best bit is I have been able to take my folks to a couple of places that we just wouldn't have ever gone to without being invited for something formal etc. Very frustrating driving back from the airport though and getting caught in traffic :-(

Robyn - Hopefully you are feeling better.

RC you could always land it here in my front yard..

My cousins friend flies his helicopter up here from cairns, it is only 10 minutes, and lands on her lawn..he took photos of our place for fun.

I am feeling great, maybe from so much rest. can't wait to get my remote control thing for my ICD.

Be careful as I may just take you up on that offer - I guess it all depends on what you happen to be rustling up in the Kitchen on that day though........  ;D

I could bring MrsRC2B along as well maybe get some TMX insider tips.

Me too CC. Still very beautiful. Cataract Gorge is amazing.

RC your chopper experiences would spook me a bit much I think. I've only ever been in them a couple of times, both in New Zealand on a glacier. My DH hates them as he did National Service and carried. M16 machine gun, therefore got to sit with an open door on the chopper.

Today my darling SIL Heidi and I visited the Vorwerk shop at the Hessen Centre in Frankfurt. As she is absconding with our TM31 tomorrow, she purchased a new MC and spatula.  We bought cookbooks and ran riot around the shop. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful and do their best to speak English. Also fun to try out all the other exciting Vorwerk products too. If any Australian members every come to Frankfurt, let me know!!!
