Wow. So much has happened here in the last week!

CC your flowers are so beautiful. That yellow iris is superb.

Cookie I hope your BIL is on the mend.

Great story Mich. A cool, resourceful (female) head saves the day again. A friend's DH had a minor car accident recently and rang to tell her that his car was not drivable and he needed her car to drive to work. She rocked up with her trusty crowbar, made a few minor modifications and they both away. :D

Women can sometimes think more clearly than a man and there was no way she was giving up her car  :D :D  Good one Gayle.

Hahaha, your friend is super cool djinni 😄👍

Going out to soccer at Rockingham now. Yesterday was piano competitions at the Fremantle Eisteddfod. DS9 and DS14 performed. They both had lots of fun, despite the nerves 😄

My little man competed in the Grade 6 section with a very fun albeit technically-challenging piece.

DS14 performed in two Under 15 items. He received credit in the Romantic section, and first place for his Beethoven in the Classical section.

So proud of their perseverance and happy that they enjoyed their 15 seconds of stage time 😃

Very talented lads BZB, congratulations to them and for you, their parents for encouraging them to go down this track.  It takes a lot of dedication to be this good.

Congratulations BZB to your boys.

Thankyou for all your well wishes. We had a lovely evening, managed a walk along the beach this morning, breakfast and now home with our munchkins. Might try and get into our community garden this afternoon. They are building a pizza oven which is exciting!

BZB what clever sons you have.
INAID it sounds lovely, just what is needed every now and then.

Gayle, that lady is wonderful. She obviously can use a crowbar effectively.

We have unpacked the van and DH is putting it away. We have food everywhere. It was only to last 4-5 weeks so it should all be gone by then. We had a little rain over night. Very nice.

Hi all, thought I should pop in quickly to say Hi - haven't been reading the forum for some time so I hope you are all well. Work and kids keeping me very busy these last few months but it's all good. Not as much time for cooking these days so I keep reverting to my trusted TMX recipes, they're a lifesaver!
Hope to pop in more often, in the meantime hope you are all keeping well.
