Wow Judy you really do have a lot of responsibilities and deserve some help where ever it comes from. Your not getting any younger your self and still have so much to do everyday. You make sure you look after your self too.
Gee between Geoff, the house upkeep and this forum too your doing an amazing job. Give your self a pat on the back for a job well done. :)

Thank you Mandi, I appreciate your lovely words.  We all do what we have to do, no good complaining about it - no-one would listen ;)

Home from work. I had a particularly good day today. Had a lot of teenagers to look after and they were all quite lovely.
Now I'm going to help DH in the garden.

Sounds nice DFM :)

Just did the grocery shopping and some other errands in town this morning. Sitting down to study now. Might go for a walk later but my knees have been quite unhappy this morning :(

I think so too Mandi :( Its making me very sad. The wounds are trying to heal over but whenever I bend my knees it breaks the skin again. And they are very swollen and its making my kneecaps feel funny. They are throbbing right now, its quite unpleasant.
No swimming for a while :( And I have to tape plastic bags over my knees to have a shower.

Oh that does sound nasty. Shame you can't swap them for a week or two until they heal :D

Amy, Hally, you have been 'in the wars', take it easy won't you?
Lovely lazy saturday at home, no visitors, no need to go out. Slept in, cooked, read paper, played UNO with kids, decided to go for bike ride. Bike pump broken, so we walked to bike shop for new one, walked home, pumped up tyres, rode to park, rode to DVD shop, now kids watching DVD's while I'm on here. More cooking soon.

Today I had to sponge lamb poo out of the carpet  :-)) , then vacuumed the house. Went out for a drive with DH and DDs.
Cooking. Mum stuff. Dishes, washing, etc. Cleaned vechile inside and out. looked thru my seeds to decide what seeds to start for seedlings to be ready to plant outside later. Now just chilling with the computer and a stack of recipe books to decide next weeks cooking and converting... :)

Astarra it was interesting you saying the glandular fever kept coming back. DD was very ill with it a few years ago and every year round about the same time she gets sort of ill. Aches, pains, lethargy and general unwellness. A few days absolute rest and she is fine for another 12 months.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

The first thing I had to do on my 17th birthday was clean dog diarrhoea out of the carpet :(
