Judy that is a long time to be without a car.   :(

I've been off work for a couple of weeks and have a few more to go. So I traveled to Perth last night to go for a swim in the river this morning with Shelly Taylor-Smith and her Open water Tuesday group. It was a bit cold and the water was murky in the morning light. Grabbed a few jellyfish. I really hate that.

Enjoy your holidays Jeninwa, Katj and Mab19.

Yes I guess it will be Den, it's going to be interesting to see how I cope.

DD I hope you aren't ill or injured. I'm sure swimming with Shelley Taylor-Smith would have made the swim that much more fun. The river has horrid jelly fish in it. They feel so ghastly when you come in contact with them. I remember at Teachers' College swimming with them at the Claremont Baths and prawning at Como. Horrible creatures.

I blame jellyfish for my sadly lacking swimming skills. When we were kids our Ed.Dept lessons were in the river and I hated it because of jellyfish, I found every excuse not to go in the water.

Day 5 of my two weeks doing nothing after my carpal tunnel surgery. Very bored as I can't do anything.

I had a nice visit this afternoon from Judy, so that brightened my day.
Waiting for Richard to get home from work, so he can help me have a shower and wash my hair.

It was nice to see Katie relaxing yesterday and not feel guilty that I was holding her up from her cooking.  That girl loves to be in the kitchen ;D

I took the car into the garage to be serviced, then did a bit of shopping at the supermarket.  Some cooking this afternoon.

I've been struck with spring cleaning fever. I am doing deep cleaning and decluttering. Kind of embarrassing really. I went through my recipe folder and I got rid of recipes that I scanned and printed and then passed the books onto forum members. I really did think I would cook those recipes. Taking a stack of magazines into work as well. I must have been determined at one stage to make corn and zucchini muffins as there were 5 recipes for them.

Mich you are so good. I had a coffee with Kezza this morning. It was lovely. Sadly she had to duck back to work.

I do that Michele, my second microwave is full of 'recipes to do' and often there is more than 1 copy there.

Judy, what is with that? I had 9 recipes for various zucchini/vegetable/noodle/pasta bakes as well.
I obviously need help. Natural therapies have their place - I need prescription drugs.

I'm sure we're not alone Michele but it doesn't matter - it's an addiction which isn't going to harm anyone.

You are not alone. I think it just means that you like the sound of that particular type of food, therefore keep heaps of recipes for it. That's my excuse anyway.  ;D
