The first thing I made (which btw was only on Thursday) was Pumpkin Soup from the EDC, very quick and very easy and very delicious!

What a lot of rubbish.  I have done both,  Italy and Thermomix.  Give me TMX every time.

I haven't done Italy, but when I have travelled which admittedly has only been within Australia I always get the feeling on return of 'oh dear spent a lot of money and now what do I have to show for it' and I am sure that is how I would feel if I spent $2000 on a holiday.  Don't get me wrong one day I do want to travel to Europe but at the moment, cooking for my family and friends is a much higher priority and my TMX allows me to do this  :)

. So being a gadget queen I'm going to have to clear my cupboards.

Me too! The first to go is the Kenwood food processor and blender, no use for that anymore.  I have always lacked cupboard space but I can see I am going to have lots when I sell all my kitchen gadgets  ;D

Yay!! Thermie arrived today  ;D

So after the demo and everyone went home, it was time to feed the family well decided to dip my toe in the water and made pumpkin soup and chocolate custard from the EDC, wow!!

So quick, so easy and so yummy, there were 6 of us and we were well satisfied as I did have some frozen leftover pizza which I reheated to have with the soup.  I can see a lot more delicious food prepared in this kitchen from now on.

Hi and welcome to the forum creme brulee  ;D

My one dream in life is to one day travel to your beautiful country and sit in an Irish pub, sip on a Guiness and listen to some fantastic Irish music playing.

My DH is an ebay junkie and to a certain degree so am I, but this was one purchase that we did not even consider buying from ebay, even the second hand ones sell for around $1700 + postage, so why wouldn't you just buy a new one with all the full support from your TMX demonstrator.

He did check to see what they resell for though, just in case (oh I can hardly bring myself to say it) I don't like my TMX  :o

That was actually quite funny and the puffer vests cracked me up and I know I wont be able to look at the rich school mums who wear them without having a little chuckle  ;)

I actually felt the same when I first heard about TMX, but once you see it in action and do your homework, well.........

Oh and I do have a kitchen aid, bought one years ago before everyone had to have one, because my Kenwood died and the KA seemed like a great replacement, which it is and I certainly won't be getting rid of my KA  :)

I too like the Lady Carlyle , but sadly cant afford to have 2 collections. I still need more pieces for my OCR, but by bit over the years I will acquire more.

I priced the LC yesterday, $1300 for a 20 piece setting  :o

I know where I will be buying mine from:
