i always get perfect rice in my TMX...just put in 1 litre of cold water...as much rice as i think i will need, on 100C for 15mins speed 4, you need the higher speed to swill the water around, the water needs to reach the rice , i sometimes just leaev it in the TMX till i am ready for it and it stays pretty warm and fluffy

i have a Breville Fast Slow Cooker (pressure and slow cooker combined), its electric...love it...use my TM to chop the vegies etc and use the pressure cooker when im wanting to make curries or stews using cheaper meat cuts...as TM just doesnt cut it for me for those type of dishes

why would you go into a business and not expect to make any money out of it....it seems like a waste of time! the only people that will benefit from it will be the company! it all very well to say you love the product and want to spread the word but to spend hours of your week not to be better off for it, then you might as well just spread the word without working for them

zarbos you sound a little bitter i do agree with most of what you say though from my experience anyway...too many meetings to attend as well as demos to make it worth while

can you even buy manuka honey in australia? i thought it was a banned import? the other night i checked in a japanese guy (airport) and he was importing raw untreated honey back to japan as he was starting up a new company and the honey is renowned over there for its health properties

i worked in a an omelette restaurant in usa many years ago..one of the house specialities was called a strawberry blintz...sounds very similar to this...we would put strawberries and chunks of cream cheese and a sprinkle of brown sugar in the middle of the omlette after cooking it....it sounded gross but omg it was delicious

debbie the malt loaf was in the bread section in woolworth, in a yellow packet just like in england!!! im not sure if all woolworths stock it, this store is a newly renovated one so seems to have a lot more stock
yes ive got the fast and easy cookbook, it has a lot of different stuff to the aussie EDC in, and some things similar but made differently, i think its good for some other ideas, but i havent made a lot of stuff out of any of the cookbooks! i just make my own stuff up!

Debbie...i have never found a recipe that comes close to Soreen Malt Loaf.....but imagine my surprise when in Woolworths in Subiaco last week that they are now SELLING SOREEN! The real stuff, imported from the UK! It tasted sooooo good!
ps...there is nothing like it in the UK cookbook either!! If you can get someone to bring it over for you its worth getting, even if you just end up reselling it on ebay!
