Title: Bookmarking recipes
Post by: kyleer on March 03, 2012, 10:27:27 pm
Hi just wondering is there a way to store favorite recipes on here without searching each time.  Thanks

I think most of us either print them out or copy them to our computers or apps. Easier that way to find them everytime. I have mine stored and printed. I have a folder of favorites and a folder of recipes to try (which never seems to shrink as I keep adding to it)

There isn't a way within the forum as such, but a search will give you many threads with ideas and discussions as to how we all have our own little systems  :)

MM has mentioned some exciting new changes coming. This may be one of them I don't really know.

I print my favorites, and put in a folder.

I save mine as Word documents, which are filed in folders on my computer 'Mains', 'Snacks', 'Baking', 'Desserts', etc. I print out any I want to try and if I decide they are likely to be a family regular, I put that recipe into a plastic-sleeve display book. I need to give that a book a bit of attention now - I had to add lots more sleeves, so I need to divide it into the above sections for ease of use.

I copy mine into Living Cookbook software, quite a few use Evernote as well. If you have Microsoft OneNote you can 'print' recipes to there or save it directly.
