Title: Christmas pudding
Post by: willmac on December 14, 2009, 05:21:39 am
Hello,
Well I am having so much fun with my TM, trying out so many new recipes, anyway I was just wondering if anyone would have a christmas pudding recipe that I could make into single serves that could be steamed in the Varoma.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have a recipe - but haven't had any success with it  >:( (though I was warned.....).
If you have the Gluten Free cookbook I can recommend the Sago plum pudding, but it will require much more cooking time for a large one. Might be OK for individuals (I'll make mine tonight).

I'm going to give the ones in the Festive book a go in the next few days.

There is a recipe for Christmas pudding on the UK Thermomix site: "Janie's Christmas Pudding". I just received an email with the steaming instructions for it. There are instructions on how to steam in the Varoma but the smallest size pud would be 1 pint so that's not really what you're looking for, is it? Perhaps you could write to Janie and ask her if she has any idea how long single servings would take. She' s very helpful.
