I made a meal that Cornish recommended a while back from the UK cookidoo Indian book called Nadan mutta (egg curry).

When a recipe calls for passata I usually just blend a can of chopped toms and use that but this morning I saw a 330ml bottle of cherry tomato  passata and thought I'd try that. It stood out as it was in a brown glass bottle otherwise I wouldn't have noticed it.  Anyway it has now made me want to use tinned cherry toms that I will puree when a recipe calls for passata.

I changed up the recipe a little bit but the spoonful I had was so full of flavour, I could see this sauce going really well with prawns or chicken as a change to the eggs.  DH loved it.

I had Skinnymixers chicken caesar salad (from Healthy Mix 1) which was really good too though I did change that up a bit too. As I was cooking 6 eggs for the curry and I needed 3 for this recipe, I decided to cook the 9 eggs by a different method than in the TM which led to me not steaming the chicken in the Varoma either.  I ended up cooking the seasoned chicken in the frypan used to cook the short cut bacon and cashews, I'd do it this way again.  The dressing was lovely, really enjoyed it.

I halved the recipe to make 3 serves, so will have another serve tomorrow and use the remaining serve as a side salad to go with a meal for DH.

Both meals look very enticing Julie, I’d have to go with the salad though.

Yum JulieO.

We are having barramundi, AF chips and salad. Possibly an early dinner as DH has a committee meeting to attend on the other side of the river.

We're having a Cookiedoo meal tonight. Bacon and Corn Quiche from the UK Savoury book. I've just had a good look at this and I like the look of this.

I enjoyed the salad Judy, even having it 3 days in a row, perfect for our weather today.  The dressing really made it.  :D

He did Cornish, and is quite happy to have it again tonight.  Have made the dough for a tortilla/naan bread for him to have with it  tonight before work.
I can remember transport cafe bacon butties, they always tasted good.   ;D

Sounds nice Cookie, I hope you enjoy it.  :D

We are having crayfish tonight, followed by baked beans on toast.  DD is out and she doesn’t like either.  It is the last of the crayfish that DH was given.

I need to use up diced turkey from the freezer. DS had given me a Dhanask Sauce he had made so I mixed the two together to make a curry in the SC. DH loved it.

I had to look the sauce up on Mr "Google " Denise. It sounds nice.  It's 41 here at the moment and expected to go higher. I have chicken out but I'm not sure what I will do with it.
