Another newbie from Brisbane
« on: October 03, 2010, 06:45:44 am »
Hi there I'm from Brisbane and just got my Thermomix a week ago so I'm still experimenting.  Made some fabulous icecream so far and tried the Beef and Guiness stew last night.  I love the way you can throw everything in and walk away, this is my kind of cooking  ;D  Thank you to everyone who has posed recipes here, can't wait to try some more.

Welcome to the forum Sharona.  You will have a great time working through all the recipes, there are so many we rarely have the same thing twice.

Hi Sharona and welcome, I've had mine for a couple of months now and absolutely love it.  It's fantastic when you have small children as you normally can't afford the time it takes to make things, but the TMX just makes it all so quick and easy. We're also in Brisbane (Eight Mile Plains), where abouts are you ? Our kids absolute favourites are the cheese and bacon rolls.  We have theme park passes and quite often cook up a batch to take with us for lunch (I know you're not supposed to but with their ridiculous food prices, we do and they've never questioned us).  Hope you enjoy your TMX as much as we do.

Thank you all for the welcome.  I am from North Brisbane Debbiebillg, Cashmere.  I can't wait to try the Bacon and Cheese rolls, they sound great.  Totally agree about the theme parks, we have smuggled some food in too lol

Hi and welcome.
Yep so many great recipes to try. Though with 3 young kids I'm working on getting a good always eaten menu together with the odd experimentation.

Hi Sharona, I am also in Brisbane (Ormiston) and just recently got my Bimby.  I am loving it and trying all sorts of things.  I am going to the demo in Wynnum on Tue 19th October to get to some more ideas and inspiration.
