Just mashed potatoes and steamed cauliflower to accompany the Beef in Stout I’ve defrosted for dinner.

Made Zuchinni and Pea fritters with besan flour ( chickpea flour).  Very nice made base in TMX and added spiralized Zuchinni and mixed in for a few seconds.

Oops, somehow put 2 photos of rolls on.
The rolls are a bit solid but very good flavour.  Thought I had killed the yeast but hadn’t. Will make again.
Teff flour loaf spread. Crunchy crust, nice soft crumb with rich earthy flavour.  Will make into bread rolls.  Teff flour is very high in protein.

The Teff bread looks like it would have a lovely flavour Chookie. Sorry about your friend.

Tomorrow is my brother’s birthday and I was asked to take along some bread for dipping in EVOO and Dukkah. I made Chookie’s cold oven loaf with chia and Oatbran and a SD loaf using some rye. Hopefully they will be ok tomorrow.

The Rum and Raisin Banana loaf is for us.

I made custard with the automatic function on the 5. Added 2 bananas in last 5 minutes.   Very nice.
Also cooked apples and rhubarb and and zipped them for a few seconds.   Very happy with the result.  No stringy fibre from rhubarb.
Cooked the organic chicken bones in the SC last night. Set it in fridge over night to remove fat.   Will now add cauliflower to make cream of Cauli soup.
These are all for elderly friend who has had his tonsils removed.
Love my TMX

Nice baking Chookie & Cookie.

Yesterday I made some more tomato chutney.  Also cooked up some onions, mushrooms, garlic and tomatoes and put them in the freezer.  I will be glad to see the last of these tomatoes :) :)

It's such a cold, wet, windy, depressing day here I made my first pot of soup for the year - pumpkin with lentils and cashews.
