Chickpea Satay, Sausage and red onion bake, cashew mayonnaise (from Rainbow Recipe's book), egg salad and Chilli with vegan sour cream to go with the chilli.

In the next couple of weeks there will be crab-apple jelly and plum jam coming up.

Yesterday I made some No Fuss Bread, Rice Bubble & Sultana Biscuits, Tuna Noodle & Corn Casserole.

Today will be some Zucchini & vegetable fritters to have with salad for dinner tonight.

I made a Garlic and Cheese Foccacia yesterday to have with our spaghetti and meatball dinner. It was ok, nothing brilliant. I used a recipe from an old BBC Good Food magazine I'm trying to clear out.

It's disappointing when you keep a magazine to try a recipe cookie, one for the bin by the sounds of it!
Great cooking girls, everyone seems to have gone crazy with their cooking of late - it's so nice to read what you are all making.

I have heaps of these  magazines Judy. Also the Masterchef magazine. I used to buy them, but now I get them on my ipad. I clutter that up instead. I am trying to go through all the old ones and put the recipes I want to try into Snap.

Astarra your dinner sounds delicious.

Cookie, l  use Snap a lot also.
Going to declutter my cook books also. Got rid of a lot of magazines last year. Not missing them. Will be harder with the books. A first yesterday. Went into Readings and didn't buy any books. Bought a homeless man sitting in the street a hot cross bun instead.
Today I am going to roast some nuts to make nut butter, almonds, cashews and Brazil .
Also roasting lots of tomatoes and capsicums to make soup.
Also some Zucchini soup. Both toms and zucchini from garden.
Have been harvesting lots of beans, so will blanch and freeze some.

Which garden are the veggies from Chookie, are both places still producing?
I found it easy to cull the magazines (then not subscribe to any more) but like you, parting with any of my recipe book collection is very difficult.  It shouldn't be though as it's so easy finding recipes on line these days. As big as my DD's houses are, I'm sure neither of them would be able to find room when they inherit them.

I'm cooking a small leg lamb in the easy cooker before the kitchen heats up.

Judy, most of the veggies are from Invermay.  Lots of still green citrus at Cherokee. The Chinotto are ripe sowill pick some to make jam, also lots of self seeded Kale, rhubarb, coriander, mint, parsley and oodles of Jerusalem Artichokes.  Also the cockies are knocking the Hazelnuts off the trees and the fox cracks then open and eats the nut.
The year we have been at Invermay has been great to establish the veggie garden.
I am so looking forward to bringing all our furniture over.
