Recipes for chokos
« on: April 10, 2012, 06:49:45 am »
I have just been given a stack of chokos and am looking for a way to use them up.
Other then choko pickles and mixing them up with apples I'm at a loss.
I know all you wonderful members will be able to help.

Michele.

I mixed mine with apples and made into a crumble. Didn't tell the family and they didn't even guess. I read somewhere that choko takes on the flavours of whatever it is cooked with so you can mix with many fruits/vegetables and cook whatever with them.

Mcmich - try Judy's link where she says "more recipes here" . . .  not sure if people realise if they subscribe to the newsletter on that site you promptly get an offer to download a free choko cookbook . . over 40 pages of recipes and ideas!!  Try it and see what you come up with.

This site is an absolute gem!  Thanks JD!!
