Recipe Review-Old Fashioned Lemonade

Old Fashioned Lemonade
Fast and easy Indian Cooking
Tweaking

I made this exactly as the recipe. I was a bit hesitant about the seeds etc being in there but then realised that it was strained out of the bowl. It was lovely and very refreshing.

I agree Cookie, it is lovely and refreshing. I made it for my own demo and everyone was very impressed.  :)

I have a serious addiction to the lemonade. It is so refreshing.

Often we just make it with one lemon.  Sometimes if I have just used a bit of zest and juice for a meal I make lemonade with the left overs.

Good thinking containergirl.  I hate throwing anything out - serious problems with my study at present - can hardly get in the door.

I love this recipe as well but have used one lemon and one pink grapefruit. That too was very delicious. I have just returned from shopping absolutely ready for a drink and made one with oranges only. great thirst quencher and part of my 4 pts liquid a day, lol.

We have a lovely recipe here called the energy drink, which is made with 1 carrot, 2 lemons and 1 orange and lots of sugar! Grate carrot first on running blades speed 7, then add fruit halved, 1 litre of water, plenty of sugar and turbo 2 seconds. Also very refreshing! Kids love it as its similar to that orangey drink full of E's and P's! At least this one is healthy! Serve it well chilled!
