Very little today. Off to Melbourne tomorrow to have a meal with family.
Gut specialist visit good.  Test results nothing very nasty showed up.  Some enzyme pills to assist digestion. Haven’t got IBS, good news , but to follow FODMAP diet for time being.
K Atie, good to let your Mum deal with the results of the medication as she sees fit. A friend tried the wigs but in the end had her head shaved .

I've been dodging the heavy rain showers all day by going backwards and forwards taking and fetching laundry from the store/utility room.

I did some mending for SIL and myself then did the ironing.  I’ve been making preserves for the nursing home trading table in early December for the past few days whilst it’s cool, not doing as much this year if I can pull myself up.  I’ve made cumquat marmalade, Chookie’s carrot and lemon marmalade, bread and butter pickles and sweet corn relish.  The numerous succulent cuttings have been potted up a few weeks ago.

Not a lot today. I did some washing as it’s the first fine day for a few days.

I’ve travelled into London as I’m on babysitting duties this afternoon and tonight. DD and SIL are attending a parents teachers evening at GS school.

We had a Model A coffee run today. It was down on the coast so we took the Holden. Someone saw us, photographed us and put it on Perth Spotto. DH was thrilled.

Once the kids leave home Katie you will have plenty of time for yourself then of course they will get married and you will probably look after the grand-children LOL.

I’ve had my friend from Queensland overnight, we just talk non-stop for hours and hours but she wanted to see DD2’s new house so I took her there later in the day via the nursing home to catch up with Mum as well. After the house inspection tour and hearing of all their extension plans we all went out to a Mexican dinner.  Then her and I came home and talked another 4 hours.  I took her to the airport this morning then called into a huge op shop complex (4 shops) for a nice leisurely browse. My greatest find was a $2 gadget that will make my cooking easier, photo posted in the shopping thread.

Catch ups are wonderful Judy. I vacuumed this morning and washed floors in between putting the washing out.

The cake looks fantastic, a great choice.  As you say, you can't do everything and no one should expect you to, either, we all have our limits.  With the end of the year drawing in hopefully your family's sports and school obligations will ease off and you can relax a little and take care of yourself.
