I second that!
I'm on the plane now and sad that Judy isn't sitting next to me, but glad to hear that Geoff has woken up.

Update - ICU staff are pleased with Geoff's progress and if they had a bed available in one of the wards, they would transfer him there but no beds anywhere.  Slowly his speech is improving from first thing this morning but although he can understand what anyone else says, he sometimes has difficulty getting his message across and ends up getting frustrated.  Seems upset I have not gone away. Being fed and hydrated intravenously.

Poor Geoff, hoping for a speedy recovery. And I'm so sorry that you'll miss the retreat Judy, I'm sure Geoff feels very bad about that, but no-one's fault of course. No doubt you'll be sent lots of loving vibes from your mates on the retreat - and it gives them even more incentive to plan the next one, so that you can join them!
Hugs to you both

Just connected to wifi here in Phuket and so sad to read the news about Geoff but glad he is improving.
What cruel timing but so glad you hadn't left for Perth Judy as you would have felt even worse. Our thoughts are with you both and hope Geoff makes a full recovery soon.

Good to see Frozzie's post on here, I was wondering who we could get to contact her as I knew she would be upset to hear this news.

It will be good to get Geoff out of ICU so soon.  Sounds like he is making good progress.
