We have had a front loader for years. We usually use the shortest cycle with the fast wash button on. I still takes about an hour and 20 minutes. I wouldn't change it but DW thinks she would like to go back to a top loader.

I got an LG front loader to replace my top loader and I also got it with the pedestal base.  I used to have a lot of problems with my back when pulling heavy wet clothes out of a top loader and with the front loader it is so much easier I'm sorry I didn't switch over years earlier.

I agree with that one. Obbie. We also use ours as  the clothes basket. When it is full one of us put it on. We also use the fast wash as  we rarely have really dirty clothes

I've always have front loaders and the one we currently have as a very long cycle. We are used to do try and always put a load on at night. We also used to ave one of the ones with the inbuilt dryer and is was great for the occasional time I wanted to dry something but if you dried all your washing that way it would be a long drawn out process.

For those with a local Aldi, there are some good looking baking specials next week.

Thanks Wonder, my Aldi is about 25kls away, we are supposed to be getting one next year (can't wait)  I love the silicone piping bag and the cooling racks.  I have bought cheap piping bags but they only last one go...

I just buy the disposable piping bags but thought that set look good value even if just for the piping nozzles.

I was just in at a kitchen shop in the city when a set of measuring spoons caught my eye - their measurements were: dash, smidge, drop and hint!  They were really cute and I was sorely tempted, but I would never have used them so I left them sitting on the rack for someone else to buy one day.  I just hope my DH appreciates my sacrifice!
