What a lovely way to remember your Dad. Something you will be able to wear everyday.
A very thoughtful husband indeed.

There's certainly not a great deal of juice but the zest packs quite a taste punch in Thai curries, etc.
Have a look at these . . .  :)    (Should we start a new thread here?)

Thanks for posting all those links goldfish.  I've bookmarked them to have a read.  :)

Here's some info for folks who have or are getting the new iPad 3.

Keep it charging for two hours after it shows 100% charge.  Apparently the software that controls the charging is operating on an "average charge rate" protocol.

You are worth your weight my friend. I always charge my iPad overnight  but for those who don't very good advice.

Wow, I haven' t peeked for a day ot two and there's heaps to read.
Yesterday DD had a total makeover at Dior and glamour photos done. She then spent quite a bit as with the dollar the way it is and we get the GST back here it's a good price.
Today it was my turn. I spent about an hour having my makeup done for the photo shoot. I even had a manicure. Then the photo shoot. It was hilarious. Head up, chin out etc. then I would get the giggles and so did the photographer.
I had such fun and all for free. Dior were having a big promotion. The makeup is heavier then I would normally wear, but it was special.

Oh yes please Cookie.  Did you still look like yourself.  I once had my 18 year old niece at the time make me up and when I looked in the mirror I didn't recognise myself  :D :D

I'll try and do a photo when I get home.
No Judy I don't look like myself. I sort of do but the eye makeup is very much heavier than I would ever wear.
I had great fun though. The final photo that he printed has been air brushed, no laughter lines or crinkles. A quick way to have a face lift, and the only way I'm ever likely to do it.
