Hi Trudy it's nice to hear from you again.  We also love your lemon muffins.

Today I am making the Christmas pudding.  I always make it in October and then I know that it is done.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Good idea Mab.
Thought I might bring the desk chair with wheels from the study so I can scoot around the kitchen.

Your legs will be worn out from all the sliding round the kitchen. It’s a nuisance when tapatalk isn’t working. I will get in touch with MM.
I have a butter cake in the oven.

Tapatalk still not working.  I tried deleting it and putting it on again.  I got a message to contact TMX Forum admin.
I had 1/2 a large roast chicken leftover.  I made 8 small pies and 4 large ones. I made a creamy sauce from my Blog and added lots of veggies.
With the carcass and liquid from roast which was flavoured with sweet chilli sauce I made stock which I used for pumpkin soup.
I also saw a recipe for making a sweetcorn Asian style  porridge.  Didn’t like the Texture at all.  I added lots of eggs and brown rice flour and made fritters.  Nice reheated in AF.

I saw that Asian porridge as well, Chookie - I was slightly tempted to make it, but decided not to try it, so I felt vindicated when I saw your comments.

I did the same as you re Tapatalk Chookie. Same result Grrrr.

I made some Squashed Ant biscuits this morning. Amanda had made some and put them up on Instagram, so I became a copycat.

The fritters were very nice except it made about 90.  Sent the majority around to DD. Won’t do it again.  My normal sweet corn fritters are nicer , but what I did discover was that I could add a dash of sweet chilli sauce ,soy sauce and sesame oil for a similar flavour result.
