Good news that things are settling down for you Chookie, and so pleased to hear that Ral's platelets are up again .. but the price on those tablets as you say, is incredible.  How is he going?

That’s good news for Ral Chookie.  Good luck with your new cooking regime, it probably won’t be changing much from that which you have been following lately.
Beautiful day today, big change for tomorrow though.

Good news about Ral’s platelets. I hope you don’t have to pay the $150/day.  I’m sure you would pay it willingly but I hope you don’t have to.

We had 27mm of rain yesterday and last night. It has fined up now but is going to be West Australian cold. 3 degrees. 😀

Thanks for the good wishes about Rals Platelets.  The Specialist is pleased and said they can keep juggling the medication for a good outcome.  No, we don’t have to pay for the medication.  At first I felt guilty about the cost, but then thought that we have paid our taxes, have private health insurance and Ral certainly gave to society teaching in the toughest schools in Melbourne.
It is very cold this morning.  Yesterday we had a lot of sunshine.
CC, the IBS is manageable.  Mostly just 4 things to watch for me.  Apparently , one in 10 people have it.

Chookie you and Ral certainly paid/pay taxes as many of us still do. If we can get any help at all we should take it.

A cold start to the day here, then sunny. Spring is definitely getting closer.

It’s a glorious hot summers day here today, very unusual for the August Bank Holiday weekend. It’s going to last for a few days too.

So glad about Ral. The cost is crazy. Well you are always learning eh. New way of eating can,t be all bad. Lots of challenges keep life interesting. It has taken me a year but I am down from 94 kilos to 72 and aiming for 69. No hurry.
