Rainbow Recipes Book
« on: April 07, 2011, 08:50:03 am »
I have just received an email mentioning Aileen Sforcina's book Rainbow Recipes.  Has anyone seen it yet?  What do you think of it?  It sounds quite interesting to me as it looks as if it could be vegetarian / vegan and I'm always trawling for good recipes that have no meat in them.  It will be great to get any feed back on this one.

My consultant has left this book with me & I am just having a browse now. The recipes are very easy and there looks to be some great recipes in it  In fact I am not vegetarian but seriously considering buying this book. My consultant recommended the Fresh Herb and Cashew Dip - she said its to die for. Hope this helps.

This is very popular with my vegan customers.  Go for it.  There's a companion volume too.

Here is some previous discussion on it, and a full list of contents:

The Creamy Cashew Mayonnaise is very good (as well as being quick and easy).  Hope you enjoy trying the recipes out.

I have had that cookbook for quite some time now.
It is all vegan and uses nuts in nearly every recipe. I've enjoyed everything I've made out of it so far and so has DH.
Aileen was a consultant in my town of Lake Macquarie.
The recipes are in both regular and TMX versions.

One thing I did find out is I would never make it as a vegan full time, vegetarian definitely but not vegan.
