Some baking for GS.  Yesterday I made a Tuna Pasta Bake.  Today Spaghetti Sauce & Egg and Bacon pies.  The pies all stuck to the pie dish so they look a bit rustic.  I'm sure GS won't mind.

I bought a small waffle maker from KMart a couple of days ago and yesterday I  made some Vegetable waffles for me.

Great waffle making.
Collected more pears from those squawking lorikeets . DGF rang to see if I’d like to finish off making tomato relish and onion jam ! So we did ! This was for us to have some to keep and give to others . I batch of relish prepared , a double batch of onion jam prepared and started to cook . Home for a few hours ( my cooking ) then back to put relish on and finish cooking onion jam . We were amazed that both ended up ready at the same time so lots of jars boiling on the stove top . We have a great time doing this together each year . Jared them up and home to finish off what had made at home a spiced pear jam 2 jars . Put the batch of stewed pears in the fridge . Also I had made at home a brownie slice for shearing .

I made a Classic loaf and also Thermomumma’s Garlic and Herb loaf from recipe community. I made it in a slice tin and think I should have put it in a Swiss roll tin. It was very tasty. https://www.recipecommunity.com.au/baking-savoury-recipes/thermomumma-herb-garlic-bread/0s9qhrc6-305f9-067845-beea0-f5xw2yf1

No cooking, too hot.
The producer of a tv cooking show is the niece of yesterday visitors. They showed her my Blog. She is very interested in what ‘ old ‘ people are cooking. She also said that the Brazilian Cheese Puffs were all the rage at the moment. She comes from Perth.

Mab, you and your tomatoes are amazing . I have only one bush of small tomatoes and I enjoy picking a handful each morning. I cut some in half, mixed them with olives and basil from the garden and olive oil. Very tasty side. When we have a glut of homegrown produce it is challenging.
The local Spanish restaurant in Ballarat, serve good bread, toasted and rubbed with a clove of garlic and a raw tomato, with a drizzle of good olive oil. It is one of my favourite dishes there.

Nice, Cookie.
Cooked 23 SD crumpets and mixed grain bread sticks and rolls. Looks like I’m not gluten intolerant. Thank heavens for that. My tummy upset may be due to a reaction between blood pressure meditation and fat/ oil.

Nice non hot cross buns Cookie.

Yesterday I made Apricot Chicken casserole, Lamb Chop and Vegetable casserole most of these are in the freezer.
Today I roasted another tray of tomatoes and over cooked them but they still taste ok, I'll make these into tomato paste.   All these tomatoes have come from just one bush and there are still more to come. I just want them to finish because I've seen enough tomatoes to last me forever.
I also made 3 sausage roll / pasties today, 2 for GS and 1 for the freezer.
