Marina, plate is lovely isn't it.
I have it on a plate rack where I can see it all the time. I don't use it much as I'm afraid I might break it.

The dark biscuits are a new recipe. They are made with molasses and not a lot of sugar. There is a lot of creaming involved which I did with the butterfly.
The cinnamon scroll is JulieO recipe but I changed the process. It is basically a brioche dough so I treated it as such. Must simpler. I tried to make some small rolls and some large. The GC, Ral and DD devoured several which I reheated in Air Fryer. Top went crunchy. Next time I will make all small. Should make 24.

This is the large one. Much too big.

If I have a treat I like them to be small Chookie and those who like them bigger can always have 2. I find serves of cake when you buy a coffee to be way too large.  Great cooking.

Some delicious looking food there Chookie. Judy, DD and I have a coffee on Saturday mornings and we always share a cake. It is my BIG treat for the week, otherwise I try very hard to be good. Not much fun, but sometimes you just have too.

This week soups have not lasted long . Tuscan bean soup , minestrone with brown rice , household favourite potato and leek soup from the spiral basic cook book , more potatoes added and parsley too , creamy Dutch potatoes were used . Choc chip biscuits made by DD . Tomorrow will have to make another as soup is lunch time favorite .

KATIE, I agree snoop is so good in winter.
Yesterday made Roasted pumpkin and Sweet corn soup. Made the stock with the bits I cut from the ducks as I 1/4 ed them. I added too much stock so then added a tin of beans and zapped it . The pumpkin was one from our garden.
Yesterday , also, I bought 1 kilo of chicken pieces for $3 and made stock from them. Will make cream of Cauliflower soup with veggies and add the chicken from the pieces.

That's a lovely soup KAtie. Friends are dropping in for lunch tomorrow so I'm making Tenina's Chicken and Bean soup and will do some sort of bread to go with it. They told me they are slimming before they go OS, but I have put some bananas in the freezer in case they need sweets. We will have Banana Icecream.
