CC, that all sounds delicious. Love lemon cake. What makes Starbucks cake special? Hate Starbucks coffee.
Sorry Chookie forgot to answer your question about the Starbucks Lemon Cake. It's very moist and presume it tastes like the cake bought at Starbucks. I can't compare because I have never bought a slice of the Lemon Cake LOL It's a very good recipe though. ;)

I must agree about Starbucks coffee Chookie. I think it was just the name until people realised it wasn't as nice as other places.
Starbucks in Singapore wasn't bad.

Bought a size 22 duck from Aldi.( $14),  Roasted it with sage stuffing. Made Apple sauce and a delicious baked potato dish, ( , recipe from new AnnieSmithers Cook book. ), and green beans.
The leftover duck I will use today to make rice paper rolls or lunch.
Will use carcass for stock and make soup.
Fish, steamed in Varoma with stir fry veggies for Dinner.

You are certainly making good use of the duck Chookie. We had duck a lot until Dad left the farm. Probably more often than chicken.

I'm doing a curry today in the SC. I will do the rice in the thermomix and I will try some Naan type bread that I can cook in the frypan to go with it. DH has gone out fishing with a friend as his wife said NO, she is sick of fishing.

Cookie, you amaze me with what you cook when on holidays.
Today I made 14 jars of Cumquat jelly. For once I am very happy with the result.
I picked these Cumquats on our last visit at Cherokee. I froze them until I was ready to make the jelly.
I thought that this might be the last Cumquat jelly that I would make, however our Post Office managers said they have 2 Cumquat trees and I am welcome to pick and use the fruit.
How lucky is that!!
