That sounds exhausting Marina. I’m glad you got the car sorted out Chookie.
Thanks for the nice comments re our car club photo. We have a club uniform - sort of. T shirts, jackets, waterproof jackets and polo fleece jumpers. It makes it very easy to decide what to wear. 😀😀😀😀

How disappointing Chookie.
K Atie it’s great when the kids get their licence.
Marina, well done you for even wanting to work after your trip to meet the plumber. Glad he turned up, some don’t or are very late.

Shame about your break away having to be deferred, Chookie, but it is now something exciting - and restful - to look forward to.  Hope DD recovers soon.

Doctor visit yesterday, shopping this morning and a hair cut this afternoon.

We saw an unusual sight this morning.  There was a man in the a local park near us vacuuming up all the fallen leaves with a garden vacuum/blower, bagging them up and putting  them in car.  I suppose he is going to use them for mulch or compost.  It looked quite funny.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Ha ha Collecting free compost !! Not stupid .
Picked up a new microwave today , DS pulled it out of the box and plugged it in , thankful as too Awkward to get out of car and we used it tonight . DD admitted to blowing up the one of the many heating chocolate to long and that was when DH carried it out on fire 🔥.
It’s been a busy week for DS , in bed asleep just after 8 pm ... ! Mind you the moment we got home DH collected him and they got a trailer load of wood .

It’s the first time I’ve watched the TV, except for the news, since Ral died.
I’ve got the electrician coming this week to put a few more power points in. also to remove a couple of hanging lights.
You are not going to believe this.  The heated towel rail in the en-suite was not wired in. He will fix this.

Although I spent the day lying down with a very bad migraine I managed in the end to watch the Kings Coronation . Love it done so well and such beautiful outfits . My darling mum would have loved and known every royal family member . DH watched it too and DS watched a little also the crowning . DD was at a 21st in Ballarat, brrr very cold I’d imagine Cookie  ( theme Tennis ) .  Hopefully today I’ll feel better , managed to eat a Croissant .

Something not to be missed K Atie, glad you were able to watch it. Seeing all the highlights on morning TV today but must get moving as I have an early football match today and going out to dinner for my daughter’s birthday tonight. Have checked out the menu, looks like grilled barramundi for me.

Judy , Grilled barramundi sounds good to me.
KAtie, hope your headache has gone. Not nice.
Friend coming to visit from Perth. Staying 2 nights. Lunch today at L’Espresso and day in Creswick tomorrow.
Yesterday my neighbors invited me in to see them make a Sri Lankan dish called egg hoppers. It’s made with a  ground rice and yeast batter and cooked on a special bowl shaped frying pan. Different and very nice.

Feeling better thank you. DS got another Birthday cake from his DU , a sponge that was huge . They had purchased it in Geelong, was very nice . DS had a hockey game in late arvo , it finished just before 6 pm !! Drizzle rain too . Dark and cold , car full of boarders took them back to boarding house just in time for dinner,  I was frozen . Home to watch the sad Project re Jock the chef , we then watched Masterchef .

Chookie I am flabbergasted. Imagine the heated towel rail not being wired in.

I’ve had an interesting couple of days. On Saturday I developed a cough. That night it was dreadful. Sunday DD told me I HAD to do a RAT. It came back a very definite positive. It’s the first time I’ve had it. DD took me too a 24hour St John’s medical centre. I stayed in the car and the nurse and doctors spoke to me over the phone. They sent the script on the phone. We had a lot of trouble finding a. Chemist that had it in stock. I’ve slept most of today and the anti virals seem to be helping.
