That’s sad cookie, indeed your dear MIL would be disgusted and so disappointed if she knew all this.

So true Judy.
A lovely day for us, we picked up our old new car. By the time we had coffee at each other’s homes it took a lot of the day.

Stunning looking car, Cookie, it is easy to see why the previous owner was reluctant and sad to let it go

Thank you everyone. DH goes out and plays with his new toy all day. Then he drives it over to someone's place to show it off.

I went to the doctor this morning with my eye. He thinks it's only allergy caused.

DD and I went out for coffee today. The shopping centre was very quiet. The only places doing well were the supermarkets. Also the Commonwealth bank for some reason. It had a massive queue of people most of the morning.

Had a very frustrating and annoying morning yesterday morning.  I had a drop off in Castlemaine arranged and rang the customer when I was 1 hour away to confirm arrival arrangements for 10.45 am - had to leave a voicemail message.  Got to the meeting point and no sight of the customer so rang her again and had to leave a second message saying I would do a quick shop and meet her at 11.15.  So, back at the car at 11.10 still no sign of the customer, however a text message asking if she should come now ... texted back YES, please come now.  Another text or two between us and she eventually arrived at 11.30.  Normally it wouldn't be too big a problem, to be honest, but it just so happened I have masses of work to do at home this weekend and I couldn't afford to lose any time.

I should also say, she did send me an apologetic text later, so I guess all is forgiven.

It is now 3.30 am and I am sitting at my computer trying to get some work done as it was keeping me awake in bed thinking about everything that I had to get through and I couldn't settle, so, now, here I am back at the computer trying to get through some of the chores.  What fun!!!

Oh gosh Marina. I hope you slept in after that.

We had a breakfast car run today. We took the new, old car as many club members know the original owner. It behaved beautifully.

Love having my DS staying for a few days.  He showed me how to take a screenshot on my new iPad by saying “ hey Siri take a screenshot “ We went out for lunch .
We have given Rals iPad and my old ones to the Hospice who are setting up a new program.
I am employing a cleaner. ( I’d rather cook than clean. )
I’ve bought ( on Amazon with DS help ) a pod coffee machine. Wow, have just discovered Amazon.
We have given to family and friends anything of Rals that they fancy.  The remaining stuff is going to charity.
A close friend has set up a memorial garden for RAL . The center piece is a fountain that he gave her.
My 2 closest new neighbours have been lovely. One made a beautiful Quiche and a salad from her garden and the other with an offer to got for dinner together.
I’m coping the best I can which is not very well. The GC are terribly upset. They were all very loved by him.
We are having a small family gathering on Thursday with the Cremation. Lots of native flowers and the music he loved.

Good to see you are moving forward with so much support from people around you Chookie. Love the idea of a memorial garden and it sounds as if you will become an internet wiz as your DS teaches you all the things you can do on your iPad. Ral gave me my first iPad, it’s his fault I can’t live without one now LOL. How we would all love to have a cleaner, I don’t know any woman who enjoys that part of life.

Cookie, the members of your club would have loved seeing you rock up in that new to you old car. Do you have a favourite amongst DH’s collection?

Chookie it is so handy to have sons and daughters who can help us with our ipads. I just tried that on my ipad and it does it. Thank your DS from me too please. When I try to do it I usually end up turning it off. I must tell DH to do it too as he gets cross with his ipad.
It sounds as though you will have a beautiful send off for Ral.

Judy I think i like the old ute the best.

I could never work out how to take a screen shot on my computer so had to ask my GD.  I will even admit to having taking a photo of the screen when I couldn't work it out, much to the kids amusement.
