I’ve recently finished. Fiona McIntosh’s Blood Pact that I really enjoyed my book club book has been Three Card Murder, JL Blackhurst.  I enjoyed it too as I like crime books.

Thanks Marina, how embarrassing for him. How  hilarious though.
There is nothing like a good laugh.
DD did an introduction to her place of work with another professional last week, she said it’s pretty dry, so she tried to lighten it up a bit. She was shocked that the person seemed to have no sense of humour at all. DD said that the person may not last as, like all jobs, there is a bit of black humour gets them by at times. Hopefully they were just nervous.

Chookie, take your time. You will know when it is a good day to do these sorts of jobs. ❌❌❌❌

This hot weather is wearing me out. Chookie you are wise to stay inside. We are having a few 33/34° days and then it’s back to 39/40°. They are horrible. I seem to have an afternoon sleep on those days.

I’ve made some more sliced pickled onions for my brother. He supplied the onions from his garden and supplied the labour. It’s not too hard with the thermomix slicer. I also made some Tomato Sauce from Bec’s Kitchen recipes. It’s got a nice kick to it.

Yoghurt from Thermogroover.
Also some Thermomumma Wholemeal Bread. I had some supermarket wholemeal flour to use up. It wasn’t the best for feeding my SD starter. I will go up to the flour shop very soon.

That’s great Judy. Do your ‘what you can eat’ diets aline at all?

That looks delicious Mab. We had a beef stir fry with noodles last night. Except when I made the noodles I put an egg in, so technically we had a beef stir fry with spaghetti. 😀😀😀 No one noticed.

Fish and Chips for a cheat's dinner tonight.  I managed to eat a little bit of the battered fish but had no luck with the chips.

Oh you poor girl . That is very sad.
Judy, well done.
