Happy Birthday Mab .
Thanks it was an on going clean up ! I’ll put everything back tomorrow as a long day today ! They needed to dry out completely.
I think I’m a little over appointments today , DS held up very well as support. Podiatrist ,dentist crown ,GP flu and calcium injections blood tests too. DS had Dentist and flu injections. Oh my gosh my heal is bound up with treatment to a persistent wart . The Denist can go overseas on my crown ( that braved and had nothing to dull the pain alot of pressure so aches now and hygiene .DS fisher seals , filling and hygiene. We rushed to GP for injections , never forget calcium injection time … so bloods done for that . Now I have to see a bone man . I’ll have to organise to see skin specialist . The list goes on . So we met DD and tried a new sandwich shop called Rubens . Might give them a miss so salty and hard to eat . And top it off I had hardly any sleep . It’s a little too much . A few days ago DS helped put a tv that I had spent months looking into and hoping it would go into bedroom… the only way to get the boys to put it together was say to use it as our main TV . Instant .. remote is tiny and light as a feather. DS packed up the old and we had a very laughing trip to take to DD as it wobbled for most of the trip but was fine .

Ok now I could laugh or cry but I decided to be manic and fast as ! I had a memory lapse ! I stated looking though some things and in deep though ! I went back to the kitchen ( where my osso bucco in TMX was on cooking mode for 90 minutes) mm that’s a strange noise !! I felt I was standing starring in disbelief at a hot running tap overflowing sink and bubbles. Water was over the benches and I grabbed a washing glove pulled out the plug . Grabbing the TMX 6 pulling out if the way . Grabbed the TMX5 placed it on table . Grabbed cloths and mop .. water was in draws cupboards. I then thought all good but no the draws were full bowls were full of water . ( meanwhile i’m thinking ,fast as less damage . And I had to get dinner still 30 more mins . Thankful the TMXs we’re on thick boards . Chucked out stuff , boys came home and most was done . My shoulders ached so badly from lifting ,sponge , towel and mop etc . Everything has to dry out . So let’s just laugh . But the waterfall moment will be with me for awhile ! Oh yes the osso bucco was very good !

I’m fine , doing a few appointments and batching on my own all good ! I did do the stupid thing of running to get jobs done and tripped landed flat on both knees ! Iced and out the door !! Had a few moments with DD coffee , shops and grabbed salads lunch on the road. Back with the boys late made quick dinner and now legs up ,ice pack on knees ! I did do my micro stop at Wilson’s to get fresh Tumeric, looks so fresh , so hard to find at the moment !

DH cooked chicken schnitzel greens and homemade chips ! Feeling yuk so pleased he did this for us .

Yesterday DH and I went and did the shopping. We ate lunch out . DS traveled home , thankfully we had progress reports all day . It’s a nearly seven hour drive straight. So breaks are needed . Think it was after 6 pm when walked in the door . Today the boys ,well all of us in the end fixed the weather unit outside (it’s freezing) one of the springs fell off that connects to the batteries !! It was hard to find . Now I know it’s only got to 9 degrees today and it’s falling fast .
On a side note our mother cat has been disappearing for the day and not home quite a few nights , so we got her a collar !! She came home late last night so DH put it on her ! Gone not seen all day now !

Enchilada meatball bake , green rice and cowboy caviar !! All from Dinners 2 ! Skinnymixers book arrived today , so I decided to fill DH up .. for days !

Ok my finger burn is nothing to everyone else’s mishaps . Marina take care of both legs now . Judy at lest you have discovered new ways to eat yummy foods slowly . About to go to post office to collect my new Dinners 2 Skinnymixers cookbook . I’ve cooked do much already out of this book . Getting the ebook straight away is a game changer . I’ve printed a lot of recipes off , so might see if DD wants them ! Mind you that’s clutter so she might just want the download copy . ! Preparing for DS coming home tomorrow, it’s so long between breaks . I miss him even when he is here as straight out to help DH or asleep . Normally I ask the young adults what they would like to have for dinner ! Think it might be steak ! Better think of a dessert too so he is not too hungry . Doing his last exam today so cannot ask him.

Made a double batch of Skinnymixers chicken stock ! Lucky I saw it in time so have to put the varoma on top . Four jars need to cool down and I’ll write on them Chicken Sock , into the freezer!

Marina did you go more than cut your leg ? And is it the good one ? That’s no good at all . At lest you were fixed up . Nice weekend we just need it to actually rain properly.
I was a little accident prone last night when cooking dinner ! I put the kettle on and the leaver got stuck , I rushed into kitchen to turn it off but steam burned my fingers . Ice block all night on two finger tips , painkiller then bed , finally stopped throbbing . Other than a few blisters all good this am .
