I can't use the baby brain excuse, and I think I'm glad about that! ;D

I don't know how people can eat bacon rind. Ewww! :P

I had Nutri-Grain :) And a banana! :D

We just had my favourite brekky.  :)
Toast with avocado topped with bacon and sautéed mushrooms with a good grinding of black pepper.  :D
And no rind  :o yuk

We visited a friend yesterday who keeps quails. So brekky this morning was cherries followed by quail eggs on toast:)

Back to green smoothies today, much better for me than the bacon and eggs and champagne I've had a few mornings. I'm sure after all the alcohol I've consumed my body is loving the green smoothie, I even managed to get one of our house guests to have a small glass.

Buy some bacon and try it Amy.  :)
DH did breakfast again for myself and GD16 then he drove her to work.
Jade and friend still asleep but DH will cook for them when they wake up ;)
Love it when he is onholiday from work as he loves doing breakfast.
My hips don't like it's though but it is the silly season so will worry about the hips later   :o

Granola, yoghurt and fruit for me...I think I'll have to look up the green smoothie for when I run out of granola. It sounds healthy & just what I need!
I have a Facebook page with all things cooking, you'll find it here: https://www.facebook.com/What-Amber-Ate-1097437023601587/

i don't think is much chance of him converting Amy, it took a lot of convincing just to get him to drink the small glass. I made sure today is was a bright green - he wouldn't try it yesterday because it had blueberries so was a very muddy purple colour which wasn't a good look. I have fully converted DH now (only took 12 months) and on boxing day asked if I would be able to cut up everything so he could make one before the big golf game yesterdy - he had the lowest score of his life and won the family competition by quite a way. Of course we are saying it was all a result of the green smoothie  ;D

DH's win had to be down to the green smoothie, definitely ;D Couldn't you use that to convince your house guest how good they are? :D Unless he doesn't like golf of course :-))
