Title: Trying My Varoma Tonight
Post by: BellaBear on July 06, 2010, 12:48:01 pm: I'm currently cooking my very first meal in the Varoma. I've been too scared before now. I haven't even seen it at a demo so I'm very nervous. I've made the Swedish meatballs - something I've never even eaten so it feels a bit risky.

Word of warning though - be careful when you lift the lid of the Varoma as that steam is very hot and can scald :o :o

It was very easy though so I'm not giving up on using it (at least not yet)! Just have to try something else. I'm going to hunt through this forum for some recommendations.

My kids are pretty easy-going foodwise which is lucky for me. I think they really liked how soft everything was in this meal.

I think my next Varoma attempt might be one of the fish dishes. Not tonight though. Need to give hubby a rest from my experimentation I think. ;)
