I am so tired, today I cooked;

ketchup,
jam drop biscuits(making alot of jam lately so had to use some no more jars left),
soy milk,
cape seed bread,
herb dip(over did the garlic but dd2 still ate it as will I)
custard,
Portugese tarts (with pastry from freezer)

& I cleaned out the freezer which hadn't been done for I dont know how long. Took DD to Savers, Coles and for a coffee/babycino & have just got back from a run. I am not a runner but have gained 4 kgs since getting the TM and ate 2 portugese tarts. Not having dinner eaten too much. DH has taken DD to in laws for dinner, so I have peace and dont have to cook, I wanted to do mayonaise and beetroot salad but I think that will be tomorrow. Oh and yoghurt but I dont use TM for that.

Finding the forum a great help. So much more that I want to do though!!! Like liquid soap, if I have a second wind after a shower I may do that.

I made sweet chilli chicken stir fry (in my wok, not in the TM), was really nice with no overpowering flavours.

Also made Sweet Blueberry Foccacia (dough was made in the TM).  I served with custard, but it would be nice as is with a cuppa.

Sure Chelsea, no probs.  Is it just the blueberry foccacia you want, or both?

Julie.

TMX has had a quiet few days here, just the odd porridge, pizza dough, custard etc.  Nothing too exciting.  I've been making artisan bread.  It's school hols here, so trying to relax even though I'm not officially on hols myself.  I've had a few extra days off, trying to chill and block out the mad rush to end uni in about 5 weeks  :o

basic bread using whole spelt, then some spelt bread rolls, am thinking of making lemon meringue pie.

Last night made pear souffle, potato foccacia and chicken and mushroom risotto. The risotto was nearly a disaster as we had people over for dinner and i was talking whilst preping everything and i forgot to put the butterfly in, and did not realise until about 20 minutes later when i was wondering why everything was not cooking  :-\, finally put it in and it turned out ok.

Today a bit of a baking day for me and my TM (now 2 mths old) ;D.  Made double batch of shortbread, lemon yoghurt cake and doing pizza pockets for lunch (first time trying these).  Last night made the Beef and Guinness Stew (first try) which we will have tonight for tea.  Might try the dumplings in the varoma (next challenge is to start using the varoma a bit more now).  Waiting for the West Aussie weather to resemble spring/summer, so I can make more sorbets, icecream and the fruit foam that everyone has been raving about..... :)

Nay-nay, that would be so nice to be able to have chicken fresh grown.

So i have done the pie, just cooling in fridge now so will do the meringue tonight. Will have to get my friend over to try it so she can make one and we can sompare TMX pie to non TMX pie.

I've done 5 seed bread, finished off Gert's strawberry icecream, made some fudgy wudgy biscuits and am doing chicken steam buns from the Budget Busters book.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
