Used cashew cream for dairy free and 45g Dijon mustard, and added a garlic clove... Was lovely.

Finally got around to making this last night, and I'm afraid for me it wasn't a winner. Tasty but not to my taste IFYKWIM, and since the kids didn't really like it (not unusual - fussy little beggars) I probably won't make it again.

Thank you for this recipe.  I have made this three times now as my husband loves it.  It's quick and easy to prepare for a mid week dinner.

My husband is a fan of the chicken tonight version so look forward to testing it out on him. (I'm SO bored of the jar flavour.

Made this last night with pork & the following suggested additions: 40g Dijon mustard, 65g water, cashew nut cream, carrot & zucchini at onion stage.
It turn out great loved by DH & even me who isn't a honey fan.
I found no need to add corn flour as I reduced the amount of water & loved making the cream out of cashew nuts as I don't always have cream on hand.
I also added chopped spinach & snow peas at the last 2 minutes.
Added to the family favourites folder 😄

It looks perfect on that plate.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I made this recently and we loved it although I thought the flavour was very mild.  Next time I will follow the suggested changes, especially the extra mustard.  Thank you for this yummy recipe.

Made this for dinner tonight.  Added some carrot, zucchini, mushrooms and spinach.

I prefer to cook my chicken separately as we are not keen on steamed meats.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

We just love this recipe; back in the days when I was still working I would buy the packet of sauce and make this but since Thermomix has arrived no more packets in this house. I also add a few vegetables.

Could you use Dijon mustard and maybe a little less? Would you get away with it?
