Mich you should have known you couldn't fit the carpet down your trousers.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Bedlam, congratulations on signing the contract for the start of your new house.  How long before the builders start.

I went out to lunch with a GF today and we walked around the shops but didn't buy anything.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

LOL Cookie, I meant to explain that further.

I was looking after DD's friends 20 month old daughter while they had a girly day. So I didn't have to keep the toddler out of the way of the carpet layers we went shopping. I thought I was getting a lot of looks and put it down to pushing a stroller with a very cute little girl in it. Unfortunately, no. When I checked on my charge she was clinging to a huge packet of feminine hygiene products.
She had swiped it from the chemist. So back we go to return stolen goods and the assistant at the counter was very annoyed and gave me a good talking to about closer supervision (can tell I'm not use to looking after little ones). She must have been having a stressful day and I just added to her burden. We slunk out there as fast as possible.  :-[
DD and her friend thought it was hilarious, it was funny but obviously not for the shop assistant.

One of my kids did that Mich...but she had a penchance for G-strings in very small sizes! Luckily we found them before we got out the checkout.  :-))

What a miserable shop assistant Michele, you did the right thing and returned the goods so she should have seen the funny side of it.  What a story to tell that young miss down the track.

I went to town today to meet JulieO for the first time at long last.  Chatted over a glass of wine and spoilt with gifts from this lovely lady.
Thanks again Julie, it was so nice to finally meet you.  Sorry girls, no photo taken.

How lovely for you both. It's great to meet up with other forum members.  ;D

The shop assistant must have been having a bad day and I added to her load. As she pointed out, my supervision was lacking. Luckily, no lives lost and it will be a story to tell at miss's 18th.  ;D

We built this house so I am very aware of possible hiccups but still enjoyed the process.  They think in for April/ May, DD2 will be 21 in July 2015 so settled by then would be nice.
Lots to think about and lose sleep over now.

Oh Michele, what a sour puss the shop assistant was.

BZB DH enjoyed his bus trips. I was quite surprised.

Judy and JulieO I'm sure you had fun and lots to chat about.

A shame the sales assistant couldn't see the funny side of your shopping incident Michele. :-\

How wonderful you were able to meet up together Julie and Judy. The forum is such an amazing place for great friendships. ;D

We spent the day in London helping DD and SIL pack up their belongings because they move tomorrow. They have bought a Townhouse on the Isle of Dogs. They are so excited because they have always rented property before. We brought Louis home with us for two nights. We will take him home on Sunday to his new home.
