I've had a lovely weekend away with some girlfriends on the mornington peninsula. Yesterday we had a leisurely lunch, then a long soak in the hot springs before going out to dinner at the local pub. Then we walked to my friend's shop for a private late night shopping spree which finished around midnight! Sleep in today, then another lovely alfresco lunch enjoying the gorgeous weather. I then had a 2.5 hour round trip to pick up the kids from their grandma's and bring them home again. Bit tired now!

Tonight is clean sheet night! Love clean sheet night too. It's usually a race between DH and I as to who can get in first. Went to kinder this afternoon and did lots and lots of photocopying ready for AGM this week.

Of course astarra :D
From left to right: George (SD gave him to me when I had my spinal surgery), Oscar (my auntie gave him to me for Christmas 10 years ago), Fred (my cousin made him for me when I was a baby), and Rosie (my mum made her for me for my 6th birthday, along with a matching dress) ;D ;D ;D

I love my teddies :D :D :D

Deedub, that sounded like a great weekend.  Could do with one of those myself but one that lasts a bit longer  :-))

We have clean sheets tonight too!
I've been to the market, done washing, baked a sour dough loaf, planted some tomatoes, helped with homework, encouraged my children to tidy their rooms and reorganised my bedroom cupboards

It sounds as if lots of us have achieved quite a few things today ES - must have found a bit of energy from somewhere.

Wow productive day ES. How do you "encourage" children to clean up their rooms?
Lovely teddies Amy.

Went for a run this morning around the park near DD's house. I t was a pleasant run with lots of people using the park. The DW and I went shopping. I bought more rye flour. DW bought some towels and we did a little bit of Christmas shopping.

After driving 2.5 hrs home we arrived to find that DD2 who was staying here left dishes in the sink, a water bottle in the lounge room, the TV, DVD player, Wii and surround sound on. Oh yeah and half the lights on.
