Welcome to the forum Smartcat. We all love our thermomix's.
There are loads of recipes and helpful hints for you to browse through while you make up your mind.
Where abouts are you from?

Hi Smartcat, as a Thermomix owner-to-be I'd like to welcome you to our forum - this is the place where you will spend many hours once you buy a Thermomix. Have a good read whilst you are waiting to purchase and if you are in 2 minds, I'm sure you will be convinced to buy once you see all the lovely food we prepare in our machines.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm looking forward to browsing the recipes when I have time. It should give me a better idea of whether to buy or not.

A warm welcome to you Smartcat . . . ask any one of us and you'll find that we would not like to go back to the way things were before we had our TMXs!! ;D We're continually blown away by what we can produce in them . . . .bread. soups, stews, steamed dishes galore, all in one meals using the bowl rice basket varoma . . .have you had a demonstration yet? They're good fun and the consultants are usually very good and won't indulge in any arm twisting . . ;D
If you're browsing through the forum, take a look at this list of favourites by one of our favourite long long time members, CreamPuff63 http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=6470.0

Welcome to the forums Smartcat - this is the best online resource for the Thermomix that I've found. I really hope you enjoy it as much as I have. You must be excited about getting your Thermomix at home.

A Sydney sider (you have a lot of company then) Yes definitely have a good look through the recipes. The thing I like best about cooking with a thermomix is that you are in control of what ingredients go into your recipe - no additives, preservatives, numbers etc.
-
. . . . not to mention the speed . . . ;D ;D The time you save using the TMX is amazing!!
-
Hi and welcome smartcat
-
Welcome Smartcat, you also save on lots of washing up too. That is one of the things I really like.
-
Hi and welcome to the world of Thermomix ;D

Hello and Welcome Smartcat! :D

Hi smartcat. welcome to the forum. This is the nicest forum I have ever been a member of. It's also full of recipes and tips and ideas.
-
Hi, you have come to the wrong place if you want any negatives about Thermie, we all love him.
-
Good luck in your decision making. It took me a long time to get my thermomix, but now if it broke tomorrow, I'd definitely buy another. And it just does so much more than I imagined when I decided to buy!
-
Yep if my house burned down this would be the only appliance I would be rushing to buy.
-
When we had to evacuate because of a bushfire I took my Thermie and for some reason all of my underwear. ???
-
Well cooking in your underwear is better than doing it naked Alexis :D I'd grab my TMX too ;)
-
Sensible to grab the underwear alexis. You can face almost anything with a fresh pair of undies on ;) ;D
