I would rather face a snake than a green tree frog. Cockroaches, spiders, flying insects - none of them worry me - show me a frog and all hell breaks loose.

My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

I don't know how you can even read on a treadmill Twitterpated - are you walking or running? Of course we all know Hally posts whilst on her treadmill LOL. Multi tasking, love it.
Ok I'm off the treadmill now so I can reply. My treadmill has a small ledge above the instrument panel where I can safely lean the mini laptop that I have. My DH also built a small shelf that balances on the handles so I can use the mouse. No problems reading but the keyboard is too far away for me to type but not sure I really want to anyway. I've never had a problem reading on there and sometimes take a book as well. No probs reading in the car either which seems to be something you either can or can't do. BTW JD I don't run - ever! It's just something I can't do. I have the setting at uphill and walk really briskly - just slower than a jog.

Have been given 2 buckets of mangoes so I will be chopping and vacuum sealing them for use throughout the year. First time using the sealer since it arrived early this week. BTW has anyone found the cheapest source for bags/rolls?

Hi Tasty, I know they are definitely in the Asian section at my local Woolies. Thought it might help if you knew what to look for so check this out. Also they are more in with the other products than with the noodles at my local shop.

I know what you mean Cuilidh. I used to read all the posts in the afternoon after work before I started cooking dinner. Now I am on here morning and night to read them. I read all my posts on the treadmill as it helps to make the time go faster. If I have any left after that it's usually only another ten minutes or so. Mind you I can't post on the treadmill so I save all my posting for once I've finished.

My TMX turned 1 the week before Christmas. I think I may have got my second jug & blade set near Easter last year. I didn't last that long before I realised that I needed another.

Ha ha Gert so true!. I recently spend a few weeks in Rockhampton and decided that putting on makeup, blowdrying hair and ironing clothes were all an absolute waste of time. The makeup slid off, the hair went frizzy and the clothes were crushed and/or drenched in minutes. According to the locals I'm now officially a "Southerner"
Welcome to our world!!!

The pug in my avatar is called Marley. I just love pugs. Although not so happy with Marley today as he decided it was time for breakfast at 5.15 this morning.

Every year at least once a year I clean out every cupboard/room in the house. As I go through the cupboards I box/bag up anything that I haven't used iin the last year. This ensures that I minimise the "junk" I have laying around. I am a huge believer in "everything has its place" but by no means am a clean freak. I just find that by minimising the stuff it's a lot easier to keep clean, especially when you tidy up and put everything back where it should be. Mind you the last two times I have moved it all to a storage room that we have with a mind to sell at a garage sale. I was in there this morning (it's where my treadmill is) and made a decision that I'm not having the garage sale as I am sick of seeing it all. I'm going to sort it over the next few weekends and donate it to charity. I want it gone more than I want to organise a garage sale!

Thanks for trying this out for us JD. Looks like it's safe to go ahead and we can all enjoy the salad.

Had this two nights ago but forgot to post a review. Very tasty especially with the cheese mix sprinkled on top. Enjoyed by all here!
