Just had a look on itunes to download the emoji app. There are a number of free versions - does it matter which one you download?

Thanks heaps for the tips everyone. I tried it out and it worked great. I assume if I was going to freeze some bases I would just do it after the first rise?

Chit Chat / Re: Pizza dough help
« on: February 25, 2012, 09:06:37 am »
I generally get mine fairly round. I start by shaping lump of dough into a small disc. Then i turn the dough round and round folding the edges under to get a nice round shape (no point making a ball as you then flatten it anyway). At that point I roll out the dough on baking paper. By doing this I can continually turn the dough without it sticking to the bench. I roll from the centre to the edge, turn, roll, turn. This way it seems to stay fairly round. Hope I've explained it clearly enough.

Having a pizza night this weekend and am really short on time so the idea of making today to use Friday night sounds great but I'm not really sure of how to go about it.

I usually use this recipe so I will make this tonight and then place in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with cling wrap. Put in the fridge and then take out tomorrow night, punch down, roll out, leave for around 1/2 hour for second rise (probably doesn't need this but this way it will be done ahead of time and I can spend time with guests), top and cook.

Can someone tell me if I am on the right track here???? I have read in numerous posts about slow rises of doughs in the fridge but have never attempted it and can't have this fail. Any help would be appreciated.

Suggestions and Complaints / Re: Marking recipes as favourites

Just went and did a manual sync to see what would happen. No message everything seems fine here. Sorry I cant help. I just noticed that there is a troubleshooter on their site. If you go to online help under the help menu it will take you to the right area. Also there is a forum which might help and you can log a ticket for a technician to help. Sorry that's all I have.

Made these and everyone has said - they are a definite yum. I made the marinade in the morning and then steamed and cooked in the afternoon. They were well browned in the time stated but would probably cook a little extra next time to crisp them up. I was concerned by how runny the marinade was but all went fine. I served with salad as it was just too hot here to make the fried rice and they tasted great.

As the book says "simply melts in your mouth". 5/5

Made this for lunch today for the family. Nice easy quick recipe to make. Didn't need to make many tweaks excepting that I added a little extra vege stock like JulieO and I thickened a little extra.

5/5 for us.

Yes I just don't want to wait. I had to wait for Dinner Spinner and wanted to get this one straight up.

If you order from the Hub & Spke website from tomorrow you get a free book with it, I think to do with baking.

yes...but there doesn't look to be a padlock for security when entering credit card details  :-\  maybe that will change tomorrow...but be careful....so many people have fishing spam on their computers without even knowing!

Not much choice when there is no other way to get one. Tenina's site says it is out of stock. Been at work since early this morning and no break to log on to try to get one. Will have to try to get one off this site instead.

Chit Chat / Re: What are you cooking today?

Have just finished the Golden Syrup Cake, Mediterranean pull-a-part loaf in the oven and have prepared the KFC spices and chicken for dinner tonight. It's already more than hot here so that might do for today. Was thinking about some hot cross buns but I'll see if the storm clouds go away and it cools down before entering the kitchen again.

I have just taken this out of the oven. The whole house smells great. Taking it for morning tea with friends. Just waiting for it to cool before dusting with icing sugar.

Made this yesterday for coffee loving DH. Although he doesn't like milky drinks he loved this and said he would definitely have it again. Great for a hot day and mix makes more than enough for 3 people. 5/5 from this house.

I have a friend like that..............and her family keep giving her frog things to put around the house. :D

Hope mine don't start. My yard is full of frogs so I have a "I don't go outside after dark" rule. When the kids were small I never let on that I was afraid of them and as a result they love them. Helps when I find myself in a situation or if I need something from outside once dark has come.  :-\
