Over the last couple of years I've stopped icing my cakes as we're trying to take care of weight etc. (damn BIL for having that heart attack at 60) I did ice the Carrot and White Chocolate cake though and it was lovely. A real treat. But then we don't have hungry people who will burn up all the energy in no time at all.
Thanks for the reminder about the tablespoon size. I would be just as likely to read the beginning of the book after we'd had a few over flavoured curries. As they always say, when all else fails read the instructions (or beginning of the book)
I've had the book for a while but must admit I haven't made much, only the Curried fish and that was ages ago. I've written in the book that it was nice but for 3 of us I'll only need half. On Friday night my friend had made the Fish Pie. The taste was lovely. I believe she had added some smoked oysters and marina mix to hers.
I was thrilled to see Ablett win. I think he's had a hard run. I was really pleased to see he beat Judd by 8 -( I think.) Sour grapes isn't it now he plays for Carrrton?
I'm going to be lost without my AFL each weekend, I'll start reading the newspaper from the front for a while.
Well done Judy and Jo. That snuck up on me. I checked the site around midday and it was still the soup. Fantastic news. Now we get to do the 'cook off' and vote.
