Timer not accurate
« on: September 04, 2010, 01:13:11 pm »
Has anyone actually timed their TMX timer? I did the other day. It counts down much faster than second by second. Not that it's important, but interesting that 5 minutes by TMX time isn't 5 mintues.... :-))
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I just checked mine MJ and 5 minutes was exactly 5 minutes by another timer so I think maybe you have a slight problem there. Mine was correct right down to the last second.
If it is still under warranty, I'd get it checked out before it goes completely haywire.
