How do I link a review to the above index ?
Thanks :)
-
I know this book is available on iTunes, but does anyone know if it is available on the Android Playstore /Market?
-
You write your review Domesticgoddess and one of the moderators will link it to the above list. Just start a new topic in this thread.
-
How do I start a new topic in the thread ? Sorry, really new to this
-
Go to Recipe Reviews, click on new topic and write your review with a heading of eg Review of Bacon & Egg Pies page 219 Quick Fix - Every Occasion. In your review write any adjustments, what you thought of the recipe and some people give it something/5 but this is not really necessary. The review will end up on page 2 or 3 of that thread but we will find it and link it for you.
-
JD I wrote a review of 2 recipes in the book but I can't see it. Did you receive it? I made the Lamb roast marinade and the Creamy Chicken Linguine - both great.
-
Yes kezza, CC has linked them on the above list.
-
Thankyou :)
-
I'm looking forward to buying this book.
-
I am awaiting delivery of this book - love the sound of the recipes, hate the way I can't not buy TM recipe books!! :P
-
Not so patiently waiting too :P

Ooooooooooooh Katie :o
I'm jealous now!!! ;)
-
I just got my copy today too! 😃
-
My postie left a calling card today... Happy it's here (with low carb & a spatula), but sad I missed it!
-
Pity you missed the postie.
Those spatulas are really great. You'll love it and the books.
-
That's great to hear about the spatula Katie, I hadn't heard anyone else talk about them so only ordered one to see what it is like. Might need another!
-
Not so patiently waiting here as well ... post to WA takes soooooooo looooooooooong :-)) :-)) :-))

-
Great. Now we need the reviews! :)
-
I just noticed on facebook that Tenina now has these. Guess where I ordered mine from and it will be here in 2 days. The extra dollar for express post was worth it.
-
ha ha Cookie Tenina did tell me she has already sold one! Hope you enjoy :)
-
Good mine today - looks good!!
-

I can't wait Alyce.
-
I have just drooled over every page of this and Alyce's Low Carb book. I can't wait to start cooking!
-
I just got my book in the post today :)
Was so excited that I've left the groceries in the car, the dogs are hanging around waiting for their weekly bone from the butchers and giving me evil/sad/begging looks, I made a cuppa and have just flicked through it.
Awesome! Love it, can't wait to get on with some cooking. I love that there is a picture for each recipe (yup...I am a picture person!) I love that it is not entirely Thermomix, I just love it ;D ;D
Right - off to unpack the car, feed the starving doggies and, put the kettle on again, feet up and re-read Alyce's book again.
-
I'm having a similar problem now Nikkit. My book has just arrived from Tenina. THANK YOU :-* :-*
Super service. I was planning to go shopping. Now if I look at the book I won't go, or will I not touch it and look later? What will the family say if I bake some bread and we have Vegemite sandwiches for dinner?
-
I just did 2 reviews from last night Cookie, sticky sauce and smashed spuds. Both so yummy!
Have a quick flick, do a list, whizz out and do the shopping and get home and cook!!
-
I did exactly as you suggested Nikkit. I limited myself to a very quick look. The shopping is done and I love the book. I can't wait to try so much from it.
-
I really want this beautiful book now but have told my DDs that it would be a lovely birthday pressie....in mid November! I have no patience or will power when it comes to new thermie books especially alyce's
-
Buy it now cos Tenina's book is apparently coming out later in the year
-
Have an early birthday present Bedlam, and then Tenina's book for your birthday. I think this is the best of Alyce's books
-
Awesome! Love it, can't wait to get on with some cooking. I love that there is a picture for each recipe (yup...I am a picture person!) I just love it ;D ;D
+1
-
So what did you cook cookie?
-
The smashed potatoes for dinner last night. They were a bit too mashed bit tonight I'll do better! Still making lists for the rest. DH wanted me to go out to look at some rubbish this morning. :-\ :-\ :-\ home now and doing more looking.
-
We're having the chicken linguine one tonight. Was a hard choice, looks like we'll be eating something new every night for the next week or more :)
-
I'm looking at the vegetable pasties and the apple caramel cake. I've made the cheat's sourdough and liked it.
-
I am trying, I repeat, I am trying to stay away from the dessert section.
Actually I may as well give up, have a big dessert blow out and be done with it.
I can always be good next week :-))
-
Next week sounds good to me. I'll be good then too. :D :D
-
I popped into Katie's this afternoon and she presented me with a copy of this book - she does spoil me and is a very naughty girl but it is appreciated and tonight it will go to bed with me for a look see.
-
What a lovely gift to receive Judy.Happy nighttime reading ;) ;D
-
How lovely for you Judy. You will love the book. Katie you are indeed a lovely person.
-
What a lovely gift to receive JD, I'm trying to hold out till we get back from our trip. Don't no if I will succeed, if I keep rearing these posts.
-
I'm up to page 119 and just loving this book as I did QFITT. I love the Preparation and Storage pages at the end of each section which tell you how you can prepare different stages of the recipes ahead of time, how long something will keep and if it can be frozen. Brilliant addition Alyce, all recipe books should have this information. Congratulations, this will be a top seller.
-
The book sounds as though it's going to be a mega hit with Thermomix owners Judy.Congratulations Alyce on producing a well thoughtout brilliant cookbook. :)
-
What a lovely gift and a lovely girl to give it to you. Good friends are worth looking after.
I have hinted (read shouted loudly) to my dds that this would make a lovely birthday gift. Just not sure i can wait until mid november!
-
No, don't wait until November Bedlam, you need it NOW ;D Put DD on and let me speak to her and I'll convince her to buy it earlier for you. Thanks for the lovely comment too :-* :-* :-*
-
I'm glad you're enjoying the book Judy. Can't wait to see what you make first.
It was just a small thank you for all the lovely things Judy has done for me. She is a wonderful friend and does so much for everyone, it's nice to give a little back.
-
Thanks again Katie, love the book and you too - there are 74 recipes in there that I like ;D
-
I gave in and bought this late last night. Decision made, now the wait :)
-
I too gave in and bought 2 copies one for a friend's birthday in a couple of weeks and one for me ::)
-
I bought a surprise copy for my DD25 and I've nearly spilled the beans a couple of times on the phone. Catching up with her later this week and I'm sure ill give it to within 5 mins! And then I'll be pouring over it with her like I've never seen it no doubt - I just love it!
-
It really is excellent, I agree. When we are all cooked out from Alyce's book, Tenina's will be available.

JD this is one of my favourite parts of the book too. I'm always looking to prepare parts of a meal ahead, especially for week nights when we have sport after school. It's great to have those ideas from Alyce
-
And please let it have an ebook version, pleaseeeeeeee!!
It really is excellent, I agree. When we are all cooked out from Alyce's book, Tenina's will be available.
-
It is great to hear that the additional information at the end of each section is well received - I think it's really helpful, so glad you all agree!

Ekusumo, there is an iBook version! But again you may need to purchase it using an Australian credit card.

I said "no more recipe books" but, i couldnt resist.
I ordered my book today. Very excited 😃
-
You will love it Chrissa.
-
My DD loved her book, so glad I bought it for her. Alyce thank you also for inscribing the front of the book - she was so chuffed as I was with mine :-*
-
I am happily sitting here with the heater going and soup cooking reading through the book. I managed to get it today from the Bookcafe in South Perth. What a great book - cant wait to start to try some things:). I loved the QFIT and I have no doubt I will love this as well.
-
I believe Dymocks in Perth have it too. Carousel didn't as yet.
-
Neither did Dymocks at Garden City or Belmont Forum
-
Hopefully soon. I got mine from Tenina, I just couldn't wait. I really love this book.
-
Just ordered this from Alyces website ;D
-
You'll love it Hally, it has some great recipes.
-
this would have to be my favourite book so far :D
-
Great, good to hear :)
-
oh my gosh...I've had my book for a past week now...and I'm in love! Awesome book and love reading through recipes whenever I have spare time. Will write some reviews of the things I've tried so far.
If you're thinking about getting this book, you should! You'll love it! There's a lot of work that's been put into the book by Alyce and her team and a huge number of recipes to try...it's packed full of amazing looking things. (I ran out of sticky labels as there were too many things on my 'must-try' list!) ;)
-
I couldn't resist buying it yesterday when I saw it in Dymocks after reading the rave reviews on here. I only bought it at 4pm yesterday and last night I made the crispy roast veges (I will made the olive tapenade next time) and I am in the middle of making the honey icecream. I can't wait to try the fig & olive crackers.
-
I'm trying to work out which TM cookbook to get from my parents for x-mas other than EDC & toddler book I don't have any, this book seems to be a winner :)
-
Both her books are good Kerry.
-
Yes, this is one of my favorites :)
-
To make things even harder for you Tenina has a new book coming out too.
-
I know 😄
I probably suggest to my SIL to also get me one so that 2 books & don't know which way to go but will wait for Tenina's new book being released.
-
Now have this book but it is staying wrapped until next Thursday.
-
I bought the ibook and am very disappointed i did. Wished I had paid the extra ad bouught the hard copy. On my ipad there are no links to each recipe - hudreds of pages to scroll through to find any recipe. this is the only cookbook that i have that is like that, so feel it was a complete waste of money.
-
ElleG when you open the book up in the left hand corner next to "Library" click on that, and you will see the contents on one page. Its easier to see what you want. You can also bookmark if you have a page you want to go back to (thats up the top RH corner)
-
ElleG I'm not happy with the ebook either. It does make it a little easier being able to bookmark and use the library but still not great in my opinion.
-
Well I can vouch for the pinwheel sausage rolls. It's a Women's Weekly recipe. I posted a TMX version here (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=12747.0).
