Thanks Michele. I posted the photo because Alyce is in the front.  She has come a long way in 9 years.  The release of her Gluten Free book reminded me of this day.

I love that photo Chookie, it should make an appearance in one of Alyce’s books as on this day at your place those ladies would have learnt so much from you about bread baking.

Thank you Julie, enjoy your time with GS, that’s a long time to not see the family.  I’m off over to see the recipe you posted.

JulieO enjoy the time with family.
I managed to buy some dried cherries at Costco the other day. It’s worth going just for those.

Cookie, I think the dried sour cherries come from America.  I made Julies Nut and Seed loaf.  Popped some Dried Sour Cherries in. Looks and smells lovely.

Have you been to Costco Chookie?
Very happy with my new bathroom, have to wait until Thursday for the shower screen and door.

The house build is progressing well. First fix of electrics completed. The maintenance team are plaster boarding the walls and ceiling. The roofers have started to tile the roof. The weather has been good these past few days. Next week the plumbers are expected to start their first fix. With the Lockdown being partially lifted we contacted our kitchen supplier and they are visiting the site next Tuesday to survey the empty kitchen for installation in July. The flooring company are measuring up tomorrow night. They are not sure whether suppliers will be manufacturing yet.

How lovely to have a new bathroom Judy.

CC, good to hear that there is significant progress happening with your home.

I'm a bit overwhelmed with our bathroom/laundry project in the Granny Flat. We have gutted it. It will progress as fast as money allows.

Judy, I have been to Costco with DIL once.   Very dangerous place.  DS works nearby and although he rides his bike to work, picks up a very large bag of Panko crumbs when needed. Glad your bathroom is making progress.
CC, you are progressing in leaps  and bounds.  Sounds very good.
Michele, are you doing some of the work yourselves?
Lots more lovely rain overnight.
Got myself into a terrible mess yesterday doing internet banking.  Thank goodness for lovely people who help useless people like me.

Cornish, sounds like it's all steam ahead now, hope it continues for you.  It must be so exciting now.  :D

Woke up to rain this morning, not heavy but steady, so decided not to go to the beach for my walk.  It's overcast but the sun is trying to poke through.

What a hive of activity it must be at your place Denise, I’m so pleased for you.
I love Costco Chookie, it’s so hard to not spend up big though.
I guess there’s no hurry to complete the granny flat bathroom/laundry Michele but bit by bit you will get there.

It will be a sense of achievement when you finish Mich.

I think I had a mild reaction to my flu needle yesterday. I woke in the night with a headache and my limbs ached something awful. I took some Panadol and slept all afternoon and feel much better now. It’s the first time that’s ever happened.

Cookie, that was not nice.  Probably means it’s working.
Gave the Nut and Seed loaf to DD.  Will be interested to see what she thinks.
I’m easing back on the home deliveries as we seem to have food everywhere.
Judy, I have posted a breakdown of the nutritional values of the Nut and seed loaf.  Interesting.

Cookie, I hope you feel a little better today after your flu injection.  We  had ours about a month ago.

CC,  Good to know that things are moving along for you with your new build.

Chookie, like you I seem to have an abundance of food.  I sorted out the pantry this morning as it was just a jumble of things.  My freezer looks much the same.  I'm sure we could survive for a few weeks without buying anything except milk.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I have a friend who had the same reaction to the flu needle this year cookie, I hope it’s settled down by now.
