Yum BZB, any leftovers or - will you be cooking something else tomorrow?  Does Asian food freeze well or not?

Thank you, ladies :D

CP, protein dishes generally freeze well. Tomorrow will be leftovers night, plus some curry chicken. DS8's favourite :)

We had beef rump roast last night with roast potato, pumpkin and parsnip, zucchini slice, garlic bread and corn.  :)

Tonight we will be having pork roast with potatoes, pumpkin, corn, carrot, onion tarts and gravy. :)

Astarra, two roasts in a row. Do you end up with meat left over? I always have too much meat from roasts, not a problem but then need to make something to use up the excess. What are onion tarts they sound interesting.

Wonder, Jamie's latest book 'Save with Jamie' has great ideas for using up leftover roast meats.

I make individual meat pies with left over Roast Beef.  Another good one is to shred in the TMX and use for tacos

Beef ribs with steamed vegies for dinner tonight

We always buy proper kebab bread (yiros in other states ?) to use up roast meats and make kebabs with salad, sauces and toast them quickly in the sandwich press.  Kids love it and so easy !

Yep, we have more roast dinners than anything else, so easy, and know they will get gobbled up well.  :)
I don't generally have leftover meat much as I cut it into meal sized lots before I freeze/cook, but if I do it is only a little bit left which just gets mixed with the leftover gravy and DH has it in a roll for his lunch the next day.  :)
Onion tarts are...well...onion tarts.  ;)  Am making now so will post a pic in the 'what are you cooking' thread later. They are yum!!!  :D

I've never been good at cooking small pieces of meat for roasts and can't seem to get the timing right, i guess it comes from learning to cook for a family of ten!! I've always cooked the full piece of meat and then use up the leftovers for my lunches, pies etc. I'll be interested in the onion tarts.

LOL - I came from a family of 10 too...and that is where I learned to cook!  :D
I generally work on about 50min/kg of meat - or use my slowcooker.  :)

Wonder - Jamie said you should cook the whole roast as it has more taste it was on one of his recent shows I think saving with Jamie he said the smaller roasts don't have the same flavour.
