We had a lovely meal, Mum even had a small amount of wine without screwing her nose up.  The crayfish was superb with enough for lunch for the 2 of us tomorrow and the wedding was magnificent - she looked gorgeous.  Just waiting for the kiss on the balcony now.  Had to bring out the Royal Albert Julie on such an auspicious occasion.

Not using the TMX, or at least not yet.  I have a chuck shoulder roast braising in the small oven - long, slow cooking so the cartilage and etc., dissolves and the meat becomes totally tender for shredding.  My version of "loose meat" sandwiches on order for this evening.

Depending on how ambitious I get, I may be making a sauce for the meat in the TMX.

Someone once said we can't do stir fries in our TMX but we definitely can - I just love them and yours looks great Zan.

Looks yum Zan.
I think with stir fry....I love that sizzle you get from the hot wok, and I love the process from cooking them on the stove.  I do use the TM for stir fry sometimes, but that's one dish I do prefer to do "the old way"  :)

After a huge day yesterday, and too many "social" wines in afternoon & night......it was steamed dim sims  :P.....which I do steam from frozen in the TM though  8)
.........EAT CAKE!

Yesterday I made a citrus creme brulee for dessert in the TM but it took about 1 1/2 hours to set enough in the oven  :o  I also found it a little rich for my taste, but I loved how the top cracked!  :D  It was flavoured with lemon, orange and vanilla bean.

I've seen MeganJane's recipe on here now so I will give that a try next time.  :)

That looks really lovely JulieO and I love the signature - good idea, would stop anyone using your photo and claiming it as their own ;)

Creme brulee is my all time favourite dessert. How did you do the top JulieO - under a grill or with one of those little torches?
