My SIL’s favourite Chookie. I haven’t been given any cumquats for a while.

I poached some pears with Star Anise. Very good combination. Used as a base for crumble.

Making the Apple cake that takes 4 different types of Apple. I like this recipe as it has just enough cake mixture to hold the Apple together. The little bit of Rum is nice also. Recipe on my Blog. https://achookwoman.blogspot.com/search?q=Apple+cake

I’ll check that out Chookie. I made some muesli bars, rye SD, and Anzacs today. Also the Spiced fruit loaf from Cookidoo.

The other day I made a brownie slice used baby Lindt Easter eggs . Very rice , I was adding the sugar and stopped well before adding half the amount ! Lucky as it would have been far to sugary.
Hope to get my cooking mojo on today .
Chookie I was wondering if you could have added GD on to your Cookidoo or you DDS Cookidoo .
Possibly not as it would be a different internet . I may have to pass on my 31 or 5 to DD but I keep hesitating as I use them all the time .

I THINK you can share Cookidoo with family.
I made Chookie’s Apple Cake today with 4 different varieties of apple. It smells delicious with the rum. I also made some Ciabiatta rolls from BBC good food. They aren’t things of beauty but taste good.
