K Atie, a good reason for you and your Mum to celebrate.
Marina, I am sure you will love your new home.  Soon you will forget what it was like before.
Cool and very windy today.

Roasts are always popular Chookie and they aren’t difficult to do. Have fun.

What an honour for your DD KAtie. That is wonderful.

DH has gone to a car swapmeet this morning. He is one of the helpers so leaves about 5.30am. Lucky it is only about 4km from home. DD has a conference for 4 days so she is out too. I am doing very little. I have some No Fuss rolls rising for burgers tonight and that is it. I may even have a read and Nanna nap this afternoon. ;D ;D

Moved into our new apartment yesterday, it is so different here now to what it was before we undertook the build and I know we will love it.
Yay Congratulations on moving back to your apartment Marina. Enjoy your new surroundings.

I left home at 8.30 and didn’t return until after 5pm tonight, much to the delight of my grand-dogs.
I’ve been on a bus tour with 8 others of the McLaren Vale wine tasting area, morning tea, lunch and countless tastings if you wanted them.  A very full and very warm day, it was so relaxing.

Visitors are taking Ral and I out for lunch.
Experienced gardener looking  at DD garden and soil. She is doing this as appreciation for DD fixing her teeth. She hadn’t been to the Dentist for 20 years.
Judy, and Cookie, you both have had lovely days.

The new build project is all yours, now, CC.  How is it coming on?  After having gone through it ourselves, I find it (vicariously) exciting to imagine how others are getting on and where they are at ... what colours  ... kitchen fittings ... tapware, etc. have been chosen ... all exhausting but important.  My main extravagance was a 1 metre wide heated towel rail - and I don't regret it at all, it is fabulous.

A few days ago Marina.
Our extravagance is underfloor heating downstairs and upstairs.

CC, you will love the underfloor heating.  DD has this and they, kids and dogs all love it. The previous owners gave instructions about when to turn it on and off and at what temperature to run it.
Marina, one of the first things we did at Invermay was to install heated towel rails.  Can’t imagine how people manage without them in this climate.

I would have loved underfloor heating, too, but not practical on this project.  You will really get the benefit of it in your winter.
