After reading about all you wonderful people and your beep tests I am a little scared to write about my day, but I will anyway.

Had a fantastic time at the Good Food and Wine Show. I've just got home (4.35) I tasted everything I could and had a few sips of wine. Later in the day you can't get near the wine places for all the winos :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ Today mainly young ladies who had had more than enough.
I saw Adriano Zumbo's show and loved it. Now I need the recipes for the things he made. I ended up buying his book and getting it signed and had my photo taken with him.
I also bought an Ainsley Harriot book for DD and had a cuddly photo with him, he is gorgeous. Didn't like him much before.
I bought some Maggie Beer stuff and heap so of cheese. One has chili and olives in it. My lunch was a healthy yoghurt, a Maggie Beer icecream and all the tastings I had. A lovely day.
I called at the TMX stand and watched for a while, until
a lovely lady came up and spoke to me. I asked if they had any of the Devil books so I could see but she said they didn't, which was a little disappointing.
Now I have to cook dinner for the workers.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Great day Cookie.
I met Ainsley about 4 years ago at the Sydney show. I hope his macadamia and white chocolate muffins are in the book, they are fantastic. Even better is his rendition of the muffin man.

Cookie, sounds like you had a great day! Much more fun that a beep test :-))

;D Sorry Judy, I get carried away sometimes :-))
The beep test is a running test. You have to run backwards and forwards between two markers and get to the marker before the beep. As you go up through the levels, the beeps get closer together so you have to run faster ;)

Please don't suggest we do a beep test on the retreat Amy - I am looking forward to a very unhealthy weekend  ;) ;D

JD the beep test is a killer, I trained to do it 10 years ago, never again, well not at 50!!! It starts off easy, but you really need to train so you know the speed & strides befre the next beep, it is no fun if you hate running like me.

I completely agree Hally, its a horrible test! When I finished at level 10.1 I felt like I was going to throw up :-X
At least you got training for it, we were just told that we were going to do it that night. Some of the poor students didn't even know what it was :o

Thanks Robyn :-)) The oldest guy in the class got the higest score though LOL :o Very embarrassing for us younger ones.

I went to a class for 2 hours this morning :-))
Then went to the health food shop and got mum some natural hair dye because her hair is growing back with more greys than before :(
Went to spotlight and got some secret things which are secret because they will be used to make the items for my goodie bag contribution for the weekend retreat ;)
Now mum and I are cooking a feast of curry and bolognese for nana :)
I tried to slice two of my fingers off, which hurt a lot so I won't do it again :( But I said that Wednesday when I tried to cut one finger off :-))

Good day so far. Might go for a swim when the curry and bolognese have finished cooking :)
