Cakes / Re: Green Tomato Cake

Hi Emerald Sue.  Thanks for this recipe.  Just wondering how much butter please.  I can't find it in the ingredients list but you refer to butter in the method.  I put in 250g as a guess.

For those who don't have the new EDC, this recipe is on the Recipe Community.

In the picture immediately above your post, we used a different frosting, the lemon cream cheese one from Travelling with Thermomix Carrot Cake.  In the picture in my original post, I didn't bother glazing it at all, so I was not aware there was a problem with the icing.

Well, it went down well at a party I held last week and this morning a customer wrote to ask for the recipe!  :)

We had a workshop on recipes from this book for Tas consultants today and I enjoyed this recipe a lot.

Yummy - tried this cake again today.  Happy Valentine's Day!

Yes Chookie - that's it!  Thanks INAID.

My DD and boys came around to sample the cakes but only the other one could be used for school lunch as this one contains nuts and they 're banned.

Oh what a pity - more for afternoon tea!

You have all convinced me to try this for dinner tonight.  Thanks.

This is a super, simple recipe, which works just as well as every other recipe I've tried, which was developed by Thermomixer.

It is similar to the Herbal Chicken Hors d'Oeuvres in the EDC, but without the herbs.

The croquettes steamed very well and the Thermomix just did a mighty job of preparing the Parmesan and bread crumbs and the mince.

Quick, delicious and definitely worth trying!  5/5

A lovely big cake.  I am not usually a fan of white chocolate, but this one only has 100g, along with 100g nuts (I used pecans) and 300g carrots.  The recipe was easy and it tastes delicious.

I look forward to updating this thread of Friday, as Hobart consultants are getting a workshop in cake decorating based on this book to celebrate Valentine's Day.  Fiona Hoskin will be our demonstrator.

Yes, we know we're very blessed.  :)

I've just tried this one too.  Thought it would be a nice option for Valentine's Day.  I pulsed whole almonds rather than use flaked ones and it cleaned out the bowl for me!

Cookie, would you say that 2 large zucchini would equal about 1 kg?
