I have had a look at the Kogan one online (Thermo Blend)  and it looks similar to TC but as it is a 'pre-order' they have very little information available about it yet.
Looks like the rice cooker may sit above the jug and not inside like the TM and TC.?  And the jug may be two piece?
I have contacted them to try to get some more idea of its potential.
Will let you know what more they have to say about it.
Not sure how much I can say tho with all the rule changes.  I don't want to tread on any toes.

Rosie, Rule 5 covers everything and says no links or prices but Rule 5.5 says You MAY chat about other competitor products so I can't see any harm so far.

A friend of mine has asked me if I think the Kogan product would be a good buy. Apart from the obvious answer to get a TMX and not waste time on the imitators, I said I would see if there was any comments posted on the forum, as I know the owners of thermochefs on here seem quite happy. If anyone has any feedback to offer I would be interested to pass it on.
Thanks.

I gave a Kogan ThermBlend to my daughter for Christmas.
So far she is very happy with what she has made with it.

I have both the Thermochef, Thermomix and a Kenwood Cooking Chef and I'm happy with all of them...although the Thermomix is the only one I would go out tomorrow and replace if it died.  The thermochef is good but I don't do heavier doughs in it as I have had it replaced once due to motor problems and it has been repaired once.  I don't think the motor is anywhere near as good as the thermomix.  My kenwood has had to go in for repair twice due to control board issues but as I bought one of the first ones on the market...it probably had a few bugs that they hopefully have now sorted out.  Kenwood were very good about repairing it under warranty even though it was well out of it.

One of our suppliers is now trying to sell the MyCook into the commercial market which should be interesting because to me it looks very Bellini like but they are actually pricing the RRP higher than the Thermomix so it will be very interesting to see how it goes.  Another suppliers is also about to release one to the Australian market....it is one that I'm itching to get my hands on....I've been promised that I will be allowed to play with one. Depending on what they price it at, it could be a real competitor, but I'm pretty sure its pricing will be higher then the TM.

I did read that someone was advised that the food is not toxic,  if you don't eat it   ???   :-\
I just hope people are aware, before they are consuming....although blue vegetables should give a hint.
