Title: Question for Demos
Post by: dragongirly on April 23, 2013, 12:05:23 pm
Hi All,

I was wondering what the etiquette is amongst demonstrators when it comes to holding TM demos.

My SIL wants to have a demo focussing on the varoma - this will be the first demo she has had (she really wants a thermoserver).  The demonstrator we both went through to purchase out TM's will be away for a while so she contacted another demonstrator who we know through another family member.  This demo was reluctant to commit to a demonstration with an existing customer and mentioned that she didn't want to step on toes.

Any comments?

I sort of had a similar experience, but I hadn't purchased yet...the group leader wanted me to wait until the consultant was back from holidays (3 weeks and I'm not a patient person! ). So I said to the group leader "oh so you are not available? " she replied that she was but it wasn't her area.
I guess with no competition, consultants and group leaders can afford to have customers wait :/
And they must be reluctant to step on toes to avoid it happening to them.

That's difficult. I can see your point but then wouldn't like my toes being stepped on. Could the consultants share or something? They must have some plans for when each other goes on holidays.

Can you contact your consultant at all while she's away- a mobile number perhaps? And see if she has a suggestion. Isn't it that she could at least get a referral fee from a sale from another consultant? And she could be at least on the running for any future business you bring her way. Would have thought the BM would have had some suggestions that would have been more helpful....

Thanks for the comments.  Looks like we'll just have to wait until the demonstartor we purchased from is available to do a demonstration.

As a customers point of view, that is not good you have to wait.

Do the group leaders, not do demos.
i bought my thx and other thermie, both sight unseen.
